FYI. they care about fire wood because of the bark beetle infestation that killed much of the CA forest. Rendering the ugly fires that destroyed communities and 100's of THOUSANDS of acres in forestry (just one of the many factors that contributed. NOT that THAT station is really going to stop any of that. Our CA tax payer at. waste.
Other than that, HOPE you enjoy the California Coast and all the fun that it has. Many wonderful places to fish, no doubt, they have you hooked up to go to ALL the right places.

Hey Man u do a great job filming and your love for kayak fishing really shows. I would like u to take some time and discuss your specific rigs you use. Rod reel combos type of line and lures you are running. Also I know u run a hobie most of the time but discussing other kayaks and there strengths and weaknesses would be awesome also. Anyways keep up the great work and cannot wait to he what u produce in the future.

Hello Robert, the spot where to pass Colorado River to California is the best spot for kayak fishing for flathead catfish, huge bluegills, strippers, and large mouth bass along with small mouth. No transporting firewoods to state to state due to bugs. That why they ask you at custom stop.

Nice man! I like the vlog aspect. Can u talk a little about the variety of rod setups you bring for a long trip involving diff types of fishing? I feel like itd be a challenge not to have like 27 rods for a trip like this! haha

It might be a trek but Long Beach California and seal beach California have halibut, sand bass, calico, and spotted bay bass which are really cool to catch, they have some chunky ones at the oil rigs, and or the Long Beach break wall

I was about to explain why they asked you about firewood, but looks like another commenter beat me to it. Anyhow, welcome to our lovely state. Huge fan of your videos, look forward to watching your journey unfold.

Yes, I would like to see a part of an episode dedicated to kayak maintenance after fishing salt water. Doesn't your paddle system need cleaning? Great series man. Keep up the good work.

How did you pack for this trip? Could you please do a vlog where you go over your fishing rods, reels, and tackle along with how you packed and other things you packed such as clothes and camera gear?
