Capital City Kayak Fishing and YakFish TV present the annual Santa Claus Classic kayak bass tournament. This tournament benefits Toys for Tots and all anglers are required to bring a toy donation along with their entry fee. Over 40 kayak anglers dressed as Santa took to Lady Bird Lake near downtown Austin, TX to chase some wintertime bass. Teams of two compete for the six longest fish. Prizes include Phenix Custom Rods, Smith Optics sunglasses, and of course cash prizes. This tournament series runs all year, culminating in the Santa Claus Classic at the end of the year. In 2014 the series is expanding to Dallas, now having two separate tournament trails in Dallas and Austin. To

How do you get into kayak fishing tournaments? I live in Florida and bought a kayak. Do you know of any tournaments kids can get into? I'm 13 years old and wanted to get in fishing tournaments.
