To be fair to Intel: it is their first card and they are doing driver updates. It fits into the mid range PC build slot just fine when compared to the RTX 3060.
I do believe Intel can make solid mid range GPUs going forward. Right now it is fine and with a few more driver updates it should be better than an RTX 3060. Going forward as Intel gets its GPU game together we might see high end cards from them. I do believe the PC space is big enough for 3 players.
I am surprised prebuilds still have major issues every year. If they just didn't do the RGB and went blacked out - they can't F it up. Air come in from front or side and out the top or back - 2 or more fans. That is the minimum standard for airflow. Slap matching parts. Secure everything down. No glass needed.
I don't understand how Prebuilt PCs can be so bad since these days we don't have floppy drives, CD write drives, sound cards, or a bunch of other stuff that used to go into a PC build.
It is just install the motherboard in the case, push the ram in the right slots. Install CPU and cooler. slap the GPU on. Screw the fans in. Put the SSD in. Shove the power supply in and all the power connectors in everything. Zip tie the cables - who cares. Wam bam thank you ma'am - install windows, foam it up, shove it in a box, throw any old mouse and keyboard in there or don't - most people get their own anyway. Ta da! now you can sell a mid range PC for 1000 with lows above 60 FPS on a 2k monitor and make over 150 profit. That is 15% margin or more depending on how many in house products used.

The GPU transient testing is very interesting. I m an automotive diagnostic tech and I am constantly diagnosing cars that other shops have washed their hands with. I use an oscilloscope regularly in my work so I know how one tiny spike in a signal or in power can cause major issues that are hard to find. The oscilloscope is an amazing tool that can be used in a variety of ways to test things and save a ton of time in my field. I use it for cylinder pressure testing, communication circuits, relative compression, current ramping, and many other things.

And then we had no motherboard and no money.
That's where I am at right now with NZXT. I had the N7 B550 & it just randomly died on me so I put in for RMA, was approved, sent the motherboard to them, then was told they don't have any motherboard replacements to send me and they'd email me eventually whenever they get some. So here I am with no PC to do work or game on while I'm waiting an unspecified amount of time to get the replacement board.

Thank you GamersNexus for all the hard work your team puts into getting to the bottom of issues by corporations doing or putting out questionable/trash products! Mad props to you guys!!!
May 2023 bring your company an even better year!
Stay safe...corporations may start putting out contracts so....dip left, dip right, & RUN!!! Never in a straight line. (I seriously hope I'm just joking about the contracts)

I am disappointed in my self that I broke one of the three rules I set when I built my win10-pc.
Don t update working stuff unless I m forced to. Result? Now I can do screen recordings, But I have no audio
Monitor, speakers and headphones all silent. Either I am to stoopid to understand the simple fix or windows thinks everything is fine.

I am fighting cyberport as I bought a motherboard which had bent pins, I had to verify it was bent pins by googling. I have returned it but will have to wait and see what they do. I am not sure how their dealings are but so far I am not impressed and this was not my first pc build but just the first time I seen bent pins on a motherboard.

wait you don't have the 7900 XTX on the back of the shirt , would only be fair, to quote someone who knows why the the temps are 105c Ah, GN had explained the phenomenon of dry out at some point where if a heat pipe is overwhelmed it just poops its pants and the liquid never condenses back leading to poor thermal conductivity .

Luckily with the 4500 being now 75 sometimes 69 (at least where in store locally) it s a great option for a cpu to slam in for mini NAS builds as it s cheap and has 6 cores shame about the 130 msrp but hey I upgraded my nas from 4 to 6 cores so I consider that a win

Awesome video, as usual for the disappointment build. der8auer did GN a favor publishing his 7900XTX vapor chamber video in 2023 to not mess with the 2022 disappointment tour dates. =) Happy New Year Steve and GN staff, keep up the awesome work!

The T-shirt commercial was extremely disappointing and the intro made almost no sense whatsoever that was even worse than the commercial do I dare go beyond the T-shirt ad I think I'm just going to give it a thumbs down and leave it at that.

I've been looking forward to this all year! Can't wait for the EVGA video and whatever you might have in store for us in 2023!
Also so many cool items in the background; Zaku case, Fractal North case, giant server rack!
