Apple TV First Impressions Reviewing The Morning Show, See, For All Mankind, Dickinson

The Morning Show : Solid show, the metoo movement was great at the beginning taking out scum but dove into just a hit anyone for any reason type of movement. This show displays both sides, the man and the women side. I enjoyed all 3 of the first episodes.
See : This show does have a slow start but they were definitely building it up and by the 3rd episode I need more. Without trying to spoil anything, you can see how knowledge can be dangerous.
For All Mankind : This was the show that intrigued me the most. Right now I’ve only seen the first episode which was great and emotional. I’m just waiting for my girlfriend to come home so we can see the rest haha. But watching this, I start to wonder, why does America need to be the first on the moon Just my thought on it, ill have a better point of view when i finish the rest.
Snoopy In Space : Not a lot of people care about this one but I’ve watched about 5-7 episodes lol. Its a nice in between show to just watch without thinking. I also liked Charlie Brown as a kid so I enjoyed this as well.\r\n

I got the 1yr free subscription and started watching immediately. I thought the 1st episode of The Morning Show was just OK but the 2nd episode had some meat on it. It has caught my interest. Dickenson is a howl. Emily sounds like a 2019 high school girl trapped in the 19th century. The dichotomy is half the fun. She is just that far ahead of everyone. I really like that one. See is a rather dark fantasy and I haven't quite made up my mind on it. I have seen two episodes and will stick around to see how it develops. I haven't started For All Mankind so I'll reserve comment.
All these shows are brand new and have their early broadcast issues. With some polish they all have lots of promise.The second episode of each show was an improvement on the first so I am optimistic. Take whatever free trial you can and check out the available episodes. Then decide for yourself.

It's a good thing you prefaced your reviews by saying you're not a media critic as your summary of each show and how much you enjoyed them fell flat for me.
I can still remember watching the first couple episodes of Breaking Bad and being nearly bored to tears but clearly it got better. I'm not suggesting any of these shows will be nearly as good but my point is that one episode isn't enough to completely review an entire show, especially when Apple's only provided 3 episodes of each of their marquee shows.
I've only managed to get though the first 3 episodes of The Morning Show and yes, I agree that it's Sorkin-lite as the show does have whispers of Sorkin's The Newsroom sans speed limit-breaking dialog. But I do think the show is great and I'm definitely hooked on finding out what happens next.

Just watched 8 seasons of Peaky Blinders on Netflix as I could not stop watching it so this is what I want from Apple TV. Watched 3 of the episodes on Apple TV. Could not get through one episode of the Good Morning show. See was pretty good. For All Mankind did not interest me as it seemed like a spin on High Castle from Amazon Prime. Sorry Apple TV. I wanted it to be great. Releasing three shows per episodes was not that great of an idea. People like to binge watch on their apps. Image quality on apple TV is amazing so I look forward to more content.

I wasn’t sure how it was going to work for me since the phones we bought were for kids.. but for some reason, I got a year trial on MY iPhone X that’s now two years old. Maybe because they’re on my family share plan it recognized them I don’t know. Enjoyed The Morning Show, and See.. however this whole being blind thing meant some very incredulous moments with fighting and just generally moving around.

The Apple TV plus isn’t the greatest due to little content but I think it’s the best streaming device I’ve owned by far! Loads better than fire tv and smart TVs! Also I love the fact I can airplay the audio to my Sonos play fives which is class! But I’m in the Apple eco system so this my be a big factor but I ain’t no fanboy if better tech comes out I’ll be on it!

Have newly bought MacBook Pro and despite multiple attempts, I could not get the free one year to Apple Tv. I called TV support twice and they couldn’t get me the free sign up. Finally Apple gave me a free one year redeem code that works. So I had your experience too. Frustrating.

Reasonable start but more content needs to flow quickly otherwise this is in the Acorn tv/Britbox league and will never bother Disney or Netlix.On the other hand Apple does have deep pockets so it may well mature into a streaming beast.50/50 right now....the jury is out.

I think you need to get products released in 2019. A friend bought the a 6th Gen iPad and they don’t get Apple TV. I have a 2019 iPad mini and see that I get a years worth of subs but until I activate I won’t know if it works.

Extremely disappointed with apple tv even tho I got 7 days trial for free.
I wouldn't pay a single cent for couple tv series that I actually want to watch.
I wouldn't pay a membership to be able to rent or buy overpriced movies.

I have the iPhone 11 and when I clicked on the Apple TV app a lot box popped up asking if I wanted the year subscription for free, I than went and downloaded it to my roku with no problem and it works just fine on there too

Dickinson was the only thing I wanted to watch. Watched it (Was amazing) and cancelled the subscription. Everything else I wasn't really interested in. Couldn't play the episodes on my phone but worked on my laptop

I’ve been overall impressed and pleased so far. However I have it for free so it’s a no brainer. If they do as good of a job with Apple TV as they are doing with Apple Arcade I’ll pay for it monthly.

Just signed up for Apple TV, had a look and cancelled my subscription - nothing new or ground-breaking. Will wait 6 months and see where they're at then. Love Apple, but not impressed with Apple TV.

I’m pretty sure that it did not apply to any new iPhone or iPad purchased. The 1 year promotion only applied to any of the latest Apple iPhones and iPads purchased and the iPads had to be iPad Pro.

I can’t get it to work on my tv. I’ve got an older Apple TV with up to date software but no internet, I’m using my personal Hotspot. Netflix and Stan work fine so why won’t Apple TV

For all mankind starts slow, but recovers after 2-3 episodes, I highly recommend it. See it's kinda meh, the other ones I didn't watched yet. Better than some Netflix shows, for sure.
