I am interested in whether my brain structure is affected by many years of playing counter strike -- where the left hand controls position in space and the right hand controls the direction of vision as placed in such a position in space. If the interaction between left and right hemisphere is affected by the use of left and right hands, then I would assume its reasonable to think that my habitual patterns, or my neurological connections you might say, is indeed affected this way.

This was actually helpful, particularly things like view style, save, fonts. Another irritation is the context menu that pops up on right click on highlighted text. I had to customize mine (and wife's). You could add more on that as the discussions on the libreoffice help forums are confusing. They use different terminology of in libre land and yet sometimes switch back to MS terminology, very confusing

How to make the illustrations move with the text in LibreOffice? For example, after I change the font size or add an additional portion of text before the illustration, the artwork doesn't shift with the text, and so it appears on a different page. There must be a way to enable this function, which probably is named differently than in MS Office, so I can't find it ;-) Thanks!

Libre office is a crock of sh---. Crahses a lot despite plenty of computing power. additional features are not developed to provide anything of value but causes more crashes and freezes. Recently it became so buggy that simply copy pasting from one document to another causes a crash. Horrible.

Thank you for the vid. This is exactly what I'm looking for. So now I could use libre office to create documents for collaboration. Those you mentioned are what's holding me back in ditching Office 2013 (via wine) on my Linux laptop.

i ended up spending money for the lifetime subscription version of office 2019. I dont want any future headaches and i dont want to be THAT GUY in a firm who sends files that look wonky on other people's computers.

LOL, this is for Linux from the nonsense going on on the screen, with Windows you just double click and install. I tried Linux Mint on a clean fast machine and it worked like mush and so crappy compared to Windows.

LibreOffice looks like the older iteration of Microsoft Word. I've been using the new Word for almost a decade (I think?) but I still haven't gotten used to the User Interface. So I still use LibreOffice if I can.
