I've noticed a lot of people claiming that are not able to update microG, especially the ones who are using Yalp and Aurora store. It says there is a new update available and when you click in the update it says to update microG services, but when you click on microG services in the Yalp/Aurora store it redirects you to Google Play Services page. So, how to manage this? Is this a glitch or the microG services are updated through something else?

Hello, I just wanted to give a little back after learning so much from you. I saw you have an amazon affiliation link and I want to tell you that amazon has a code that you can put in your website so when I'm visiting your affiliation link from UK it will load the Amazon. co. uk and not the. com which is loading at the moment so people from UK will be more engaged to buy. ( you get the commision)

Don't use scroogle, or even tell somebody to -google- something. they do NOT own the Internet or information and they collect ALL they can about you. Use Duck Duck Go, the best way to tell scroogle and all the others who want to own you to go DUCK themselves! :-/

Any thoughts on Ecosia? I currently use it and I feel that it deserves a place in this video. They use Microsoft's Bing's search results, are privacy-focused and also eco-focused. They plant trees for searches made and every search you make is carbon-negative.

Startpage is located in the EU which in theory has one of the strictest privacy laws in the world. Not using google is a no-brainer bacause it has absolutely no impact on the usability of your browser

Whenever I search something with Searx, I get this error: -Engines cannot retrieve results:
google (unexpected crash: CAPTCHA required)- What's going on?

reply

Google doesn't offer the best results. People only think that because they tailor your search results to you and create an echo chamber around you.

Dope video! Glad I saw the live stream also. I wish there were more videos of what kind of work you put behind the scenes. Great video as always!

Searx is so awesome that it can be described in 9 words:
Engines cannot retrieve results:
