So I'm having some issues with the program, my computer came with Lenovo vantage so I'm thinking it might be interfering with msi afterburner.
When I run the stress test it tells me I'm getting 10 or less FPS, I also can't make any changes to fan speed or voltage, and nothing I do to the clock speed will apply either. But when I run an actual game and I've got the stats up from Nvidia it says I'm averaging around 60 FPS and the game runs perfectly... should I just not mess with this and use the Lenovo program for overclocking instead?

GTX 1080 PNY
+240 core overclock
+700 memory overclock
War Thunder:
Pacific War Day:
Average of 200 (Minimum of 132.5)
Tank Battle: Average of 155.6 (Minimum of 133.5)
Rainbow Six Siege:
Average: 108
Minimum: 94
Maximum: 123
All tests taken at 2560x1440
War thunder is at maximum graphical settings aside from SSAA
And Rainbow Six Siege is at Maximum graphics settings (no render up scaling on either game)

When ever I run my stress test I always notice that the GPU Power Stat. The current is always higher than the limit. Is this something I need to be worried bwt. Iv watched loads of videos but Noone seems to mention this Stat and if I watch their stress test their current always shows N/A.
I understand the overclocking concept but this Stat is giving me shivers. Can someone please advise

Can someone tell me..if it is .. important to modify the power limit and temp limit value to highest cause...i Don't have the option to modify those... Also...i couldn't change fan speed through here but could do it with an other applications named notebook fan control.. yeah..so tell me ..is it alright if i don't change those two limit values?... please answer

Also I noticed that there are different stress tests available on kombuster. And using different test generates different fps. For example using the standard (GL) msi-01 test gves me fps of 23-25 but if I use the furmark tests I get fps of close to 70. Do u have to select the right stress test based on ur hardware or am I missing something

thank you for this.
I was able to get my 3070 core clock to +240 before it crashed. Runs stable at +200. The memory clock started stuttering when I got it up to +1000. It is stable at +900.
5 minutes into the (hopefully final) stress test. GPU temp is at 73c. FPS between 97 and 100.

I'm assuming this is a bit outdated. link does not have an option for Kombuster. I don't think it's on the MSI page, but I found it. However, Kombuster has resolution settings. It defaults to 1080, so I'm assuming I should be testing my GPU at 1440 for my 2k monitors?

Yo bro thank you so much with this tutorial. I've never overclocked my gpu before. And I can confirm this works, usually in a discord vc, my game lags like crazy now I see almost no lag! I really am happy.

I've got a doubt. My gpu temperature jumps right up to 90/95 degrees when i start stressing it. Is it normal, or should I just decrease the max temperature to maybe 85/90?
