The RTX 2060 Max-Q in the G14 is faster than the full-fat RTX 2060's in heavier Intel laptops, likely thanks to the expanded thermal & power budget Ryzen 4000 provides (aka, just like AMD told you. In fact, it performs nearly on par with many RTX 2070 notebooks in certain titles. Also, lol for the last time, nobody cares about eGPU Gordon.
And iGPU performance will actually be worse on the G14/R9 4900HS than with a U series part because of the huge difference in memory speeds (3200MHz full power DDR4 vs 4266MHz LPDDR4X.

The single core performance on an A13 is in the same ball park as a 9900K. The 9900K is just an nose ahead. The A13 in the iPhone 11 beats some MacBook pros from 2017 using a 7Watt Arm?
And the Gravaton II from Amazon.
CRUSHES Xeons.
So. Arm isn't out of the race yet.

Been looking to get a new laptop at some point and definitely excited for these Ryzen 4800 parts, but pricing wise talk of potential $1, 400 for a laptop with RTX 2060 tier gpu feels expensive. Though it is admittedly an 8-core/16-thread CPU.

The 15 Watt 4300U, 4500U & 4600U should be interesting. I want to see the battery life on those. The 4700U & 4800U should be interesting as well, but the smaller parts should be really good for power.

WOW that's so close to my 3700X! at 45W?
in CB 15 i get around 2000 and the laptops around 1900
to be fair i know boost wont last long then desktop will pull away but still thats close.

Time stamp: 27: 00 This right Here Is Where you should flip from fastest laptop in gaming charts to most power this the most Efficient and best battery life. AMD Killed it WOW.

Intel should definitely get credit for 'pushing thin laptops'. But they can take a long walk on a short pier if they think they can rest on their laurels.

And the 4900 HS is only a 35W TDP part! Wiat for the 4900H! ;)
And don't forget. that intel is intel. It has it's tricks and contracts.
