I think people do get confused about the TC, because they're always thinking that the same results can be achieved using different panels. Some say the TC should be for fine tuning after setting the basic panel sliders. Regardless, it's all about practise and experimentation. With the added bonus that you can delete and start all over again!
Well done, as usual.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I probably learned more about using the tone curve in Lightroom by watching this short video than I have learned from all the books I own, and all the other videos on the subject I have watched! Easily one of the most helpful videos I have ever watched on Lightroom! Do they give Nobel Prizes in Lightroom education?

Your posts are always well done and thorough. Even as a pro, I always learn something. BUT, is there any way to avoid the ads interrupting the presentation. It's highly distracting.

Love your videos. One note, you are using V correctly when you say the word Curve, but you are saying the word Visually with a W sound as if it were spelled Wisually. Hope this helps.

Cool) You're funny but also it's very useful! Especially the part about the difference between a basic curve and the manual one. Thank you very much!

Great information. Would you consider doing one on editing fireworks in Lightroom and blending multiple images into one.

How do you get your cursor shape smaller in the Tonal Curve mode? Mine is so darn big I cant make small adjustments.

Well done man, I've been using LR for 2 years and had no idea the 2 curves were independent of each other, thanks!

The best explanation on the web! Not only I learned to work with a curve but also learned to read a histogram.
