How to Run (SAFER, FASTER, WITHOUT PAIN) Binh: Barefoot and a toe runner here. I use to suffer from muscle strain on my upper part of my soleus muscle (which connects to the achillies tendon above) which is constantly being contracted from doing 3 mile runs every other week and sprints at the gym by using barefoot shoes. I laid off the running for two weeks after my physician told me to lay off the running. Afterwards I started to do seated calf raises with very slow light full extension reps to slowly build the soleus muscle along with military motivators for warmups (jumping jacks, calf jumps, standing calf raises. I still get my soleus muscle sore from running but not as severe as as it use to be.
Run like your kids without shoes. trust me they're likely better runners than you are

I use to do cardio 20 - 30 mins 2 - 3 times a week, But the last times i felt like something went wrong in my knees, like: after a 30 min cardio I could not even leg press 50 kilos,
without feeling alot of pain in my knees.
Like i did land wrong or something after the last step.
I actually used to land on my heels lol. If felt much more comfutable landing on end of my foots isntead of the heels.
This video helped me alot, really thanks. Im gonna share this with my brother, He also feel like its something bad in there after running.

A man named Jumbo taught me to run. He said to think about wearing a shoulder harness and trying to pull something. Lean forward using the weight to stop you from falling but using your legs and glutes to pull it. You can't be upright and letting your heel hit first or you'll fall backward you have to lean forward and land mid-foot to push off. Think of this when you run, lean slightly forward and push off.

Mind blowing. I always walk on heels, my mom has forever complained about noisy middle of the night stepping. Yet I've never had problems running despite imbalances in body. Seems like I've been midfoot running naturally. What a lucky guy. Only problem is that one ankle/outer leg is not as flexible sideways and the imbalance after breaking a toe has been an annoyance.

How to Run (SAFER, FASTER, WITHOUT PAIN)
step one: get good barefootshoes
step two: WALK in these shoes (short and fast steps)
step three: walk longer and longer distances every day up to 5km in under an hour (untill your muscles, tendons and ligaments are strong enough, no pain in your feet/ legs)
step four: do what jeff says in this video

Nice Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you researched - Rozardner Immediate Meal Reality (google it? It is an awesome exclusive guide for discovering a proven shin splints remedy without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got astronomical success with it

Very helpful I ran 6 miles today and my Achilles Tendons were screaming they were so tight I could barely flex my foot until after I stretched it out and even still feel stiff. It's good to know I need to get my landing zone correct and move my impact point closer to my heel to correct the issue and get back to training.

Huge HELP! I trained with young men and women getting ready for the military boot camp. Top questions they had was how do I run? I laughed at first until I started to understand while running with young people, they over think it. This would have been awesome to help explain. Glad it's here now!

Have you or anyone here ever experienced numbness between the balls of your feet and big toes from running?
What did you do to treat it? How long does it take to heal?
I think running too hard down inclines for a few days is what caused it for me. Thank you for any ideas.

My question is that my leg bone always feels fine after a while but then it feels like the bone would break, and I-m not able to run anymore even though I still have energy. I hope that someone could help explain what to do to not feel that way so I can run better.
