Hi there, can you make an video about exercises for obese people that have problems with condition? I for example have heightened blood pressure and, almost every time when I do exercises for strength or muscle up, I tend to do too much weight or reps, so my hearth goes berserk and I am almost having a stroke XD
I know that doctor should tell me stuff like this but up until now doctors said I shouldn't do any weight lifting and should focus on for example running, biking / swimming, honestly I love all of those but I want to know what muscle gain exercises are good, maybe calisthenics? I don't really know what to choose, because I feel when I am lifting I am also hurting myself too so what exercises at gym or what style of exercises would be optimal?

I used to love the dumbbell pull-over; but at some point the thought of all that steel held right above my skull with nothing but my clumsy hands just started giving me the creeps. Since you mentioned changing things up to make it a tricep exercise instead, do you think doing the opposite with skull crushers would work -- i. e, use two dumbbells, but keep the arm straight to focus on the lats?

Gotta admit, I'm surprised how many people don't do the pull over. The first time I tried to do that (focusing on form of course) I about died, but holy hell did I feel a difference. Its a regular part of my routine now.

The Farmers Carry with one dumbell while maintaining a tight and stable core also makes a great functional core exercise.
