salads isnt for muscle growth? u have never studied nutrition have u? Vegetables and fruits provide anti-oxidants which help your body consume protein more efficiently. U can go eat protein and work out and u wont gain shit. If ur diet doesnt contain salads ur not gona gain shit. again, for muscle growth u need the following: 1) Proper information, 2) Proper exercises 3) proper diet (including lots of fruits and salads, NOT JUST PROTEIN, and 4) Rest. --IF U FEEL PAIN IN UR JOINT, DO NOT CONTINUE

-pranavballe you can get more than enough good protein from most beans, Legumes, lentils, Nuts, Seeds, Whole grains, Tofu if you like it and most other soy products not to mention the health benefits of eating such foods. Most people consume way more protein than the body can actually absorb. no point in buying supplements and paying for expensive crap! -Literally-. I know plenty of Vegans who are at the top of their game. Good Luck

You can SEE where the curls aren't actually working on the point he is trying to hit. When your elbows go behind your ribs, it isn't working on your biceps, for the most part. It is working on your shoulders. Just watch his first set. There was barely any movement in the biceps, but the shoulders were taking the bulk of the workout. Just something I learned over the past few months that has really helped.

-Socom1112 I'd say neither. ESPECIALLY not everyday! In the gym, all you're doing is tearing your muscles, but they recover and grow back stronger. You need to give them time to rest and grow. My suggestion would be to do this workout once a week and then add in a few bicep exercises at the end of your back workout and a few tricep exercises at the end of your chest or shoulder workout.

The muscles in my right arm are bigger and my right arm is dominant, but for some reason my left arm is stronger. I'm always able to squeeze in an extra rep or two with my left arm, and the muscles in my left arm aren't quite as big but they're stronger. I also have an easier time winning arm wrestles with my left arm but my right arm is dominant and bigger. any thoughts on this?

There's not really much you can do when it come to wrists. Genetics play a huge role here. The best thing to do is to continue your weight training and as your forearms grow, it will fill in a slight amount, but many people have small wrists, and most people don't even pay attention to your wrist size, especially if you have a great physique.

Yes, muscle mass does not necessarily equals to real strength. More than often a slim bricklayer/builder is stronger than a -enflated- and havy body builder.
Also slim martial artists are often stronger than bodybuilder.
It depends on how you develop your strenght and in doing what, rather than just mass.

I believe swinging is accepted when doing curls as long as you return to a vertical position. Either way, you're still using your biceps mainly. The swinging also helps by incorporating more muscle fibers which I believe releases more testosterone (because of compound movement); testosterone= good for muscle building.

Hi Jeff, I have been getting shoulder pain when i do dips. I can do quite a number of them in a workout before it gets painful but when i reach that point it can be saw for days after. I'm not sure if this is muscular or join pain. Are the range of motion in dips bad for your shoulder joints at all?
