I have only just properly committed to a Caroline Girvan workout series, after meaning to for a long time. I have started a few times, and then fallen off the wagon pretty swiftly. I don't leave comments on videos often at all, but I just had to on this one. I started EPIC 1 last week, and got to this day. I was so sore and only made it halfway through. I stopped again for a few days, but I realised I would be so angry if I didn't commit this time. I restarted week 1 this week and got to the same day. The weirdest part is that it was SO MUCH EASIER this week, even though I had only started working out last week! I don't know how that works, but it has been a serious confidence booster for me and made me so faithful in the process. I used to be incredibly active and strong and I am so excited to get back to that with Caroline: )

some modification tips that helped me get throught this workout:
1. dont focus on the timer, do 15 reps of each exercise
2. if 15 is too hard, do 5 reps followed by 5 seconds break 3 times
3. any plank exercise you cant do just do a normal plank and hold it
4. again if u cant hold it for 50 seconds hold for 20s, 5s break, 25 s
5. if u need to, take a 2 min break mid workout at 50% in (or 5 but no more cz u will lose momentum)
6. i know it seems really hard and u r ready to give up but remeber that tomorrow u r going to thank urself for not giving up today
7. remind urself that there is no rush and that U CAN DO THIS!

this was so hard! i skipped and didn't finish alot of the exercises since the core is the weakest part of me and the one i really cant control especially the lower abs i couldnt do all the situps in this workout which makes me sad but these comments motivate me to keep going and tell me that i will be able to do this right in the future! but for now im not repeating this and will continue to day 4 tomorrow-- bodyweight exercises are my worst enemies! dumbbells are so much better! anw, thank you caroline for this free workout program!

This is really not my favorite type of workout. I do love a 10-15 min abs finisher at the end of a strenght workout, but i'm not so into a 40 min straight of abs. I'm happy this type of workout is not a regular in the epic program! I'm excited for tomorrow's full body tho! I did epic endgame and now i've started epic 1 and this will be my first 1 hour workout with CG!

got to 30 min (my usual) and decided I was done: ) Have to say, I am very proud with where my core is at. was able to do most of the exercises with some struggle, and ease. This time last year I had no core strength and was so weak I would never be able to do most of these exercises. Keep the videos coming please!

I came from Epic endgame thinking epic 1 would be easy, but boy was i wrong! Wow, the last 3 days have been tough, but i got through them!
Im done with the workout now, and whew. I never thought id be able to get through 40 minutes of abs, but i did and i feel amazing.

I didn't think I will ever be so happy to do a normal crunch halfway through this! Holy smokes this was tough. I wasn't able to complete the sit-up portion of the workout but I did the best that I could. I can't wait to continue this series and get better!

Can someone suggest what to do it they had alot of problems getting through this and had to modify. I am not sure if I should move onto the next workout or go back to the beginner series or keep doing this until I can do it right. Feeling not so great.

This is probably my favorite one, because it is so intense for me, and other 30 min of abs workout it is pretty easy for me -. But this is my favorite, i need to do more workout of this video. Love you Caroline ---
