Quads, calves, then a finisher combining a squat hold with calf raises! It-s going to be a solid session on the lower body! For this workout you will need a pair of dumbbells, your mat and a yoga block/thick book! The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 12. 5kg each! The timer will be on for a majority of the workout 1 minute per exercise with 20 seconds rest! Most of the exercises will be performed for 2 sets and this applies to single side work such as kneel to squat where we will do one side, then switch and we then repeat this once more! Where the staple appears, this will only be for 1 set at a time! SLOW ECCENTIC HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT SLOW ECCENTIC HEEL ELEVATED SQUAT PAUSED HIGH SQUAT PAUSED HIGH SQUAT STAPLE: 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT (rise each 20 sec) ELEVATED LUNGE (one side) SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! 1 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT 1 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT ELEVATED STAGGER SQUAT (one side) SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! STAPLE: 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT (rise each 20 sec) B/W ELEVATED KNEEL TO SQUAT SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! SWITCH SIDE! STAPLE: 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT (rise each 20 sec) RAISE - PULSES - RAISE - HOLD - RAISE - PULSES - RAISE STAPLE: 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT (rise each 20 sec) SQUAT ROCKS SQUAT ROCKS STAPLE: 1/2 REP ELEVATE SQUAT (rise each 20 sec) FINISHER! 100 x CALF RAISES IN A SQUAT HOLD! I have really loved the combination of quads & calves in this program! We don-t train calves or quads specifically often but when we do, we do it good! Let-s begin week 9!

the quads are burnt. loved the extended stretching. midway through I paused to search how to improve my posture during the staggered squats, it helped!
this workout is a typical example of why you should warmup your upper body for a lower body session.
& I agree with you, the quads & calves targeted workouts in the Endgame program were very effective.

Killer quads and calves session! This one was pretty intense! Those kneel to squats were hard to keep at a steady rhythm, but I did it anyway. Not sure from where the strength came, though. :) Excellent finisher! I'm so happy my calves are more muscular than ever. Some years ago, I frequently experienced cramps in my calves and was always afraid of training them specifically. However, the story slowly changed, and now it is entirely different. Happy calves, happy me. Thanks, Caroline!

I can't say that I -enjoyed- this, but I'm so glad I did it! I almost quit before I got started. Didn't sleep well last night, didn't feel like working. I'm so glad I did, though. I am a wobbly, sweaty mess! Thanks, Caroline!

Omg the BURN! Anoher killer workout! Legs were trembling at the end, despite all the training we already have. Never gets any easier because when it does, we lift heavier or longer. Love it! Thank you always Caroline.

Yesss! Quads day and 1 minute eachnexercise! I loved it! I love 1 m leg formats. I had to drop weights at the end of the calves session though! Still made it! Feeling great afterwards just like always.

Fabulous workout - loved it all the combination of exercise were mad. The finisher I had to pause for a 1min or so after each 10 rep. But completed thank you Caroline.

Tried this today. Boy that was hard. But after the first half or 2/3 it got easier. It was a lot of fun though! Will definitely do this one more often.

Day 41 done! - Loved it! Did normal calves raises for the finisher to be sure to make quality movements and not rush the exercise.

Ouch this workout burned! My thighs were feeling that - - -! Can't say this was fun but I am proud that I got it done today
