Re. Schoenfield et al. 2015, -Influence of Resistance Training Frequency-: The way they did the total-body workouts was to do multiple reps of just 1 exercise for each muscle group each day. This doesn't prove that frequency is the issue. The impressive gains of their total-body workout may come from not using any muscle as both a target muscle and a support for another muscle on the same day. If a guy works upper traps and mid traps on the same day, one of them's going to be tired going in. Same thing doing bench press and triceps on the same day, or teres major and lats, or upper and lower pecs, or biceps and brachialis same day. I avoid all those combos if I can.

With RPE, one theory that I believe in which I learned from Dorian Yates, once you get to your working set, why leave anything in the tank for another set? Do your one working set at a 10, recruit all of your fibers for that exercise. What is the point in keeping a reserve if you need to recruit all of your muscle fibers to stimulate growth?
You say not to annihilate, but annihilating would be going at a 10, complete failure, and then doing that exercise again. No need to repeat that exercise. Therefore, not annihilating. Aka overtraining

Hey buddy who said if we train chest Monday that we don-t train it again on Thursday? It-s called chest and triceps Monday then back and biceps then shoulders and legs then repeat so training chest on Monday doesn-t mean we hit chest once a week

Benching too much WILL wreck your shoulders even if you use good form. If the weight is enough that the ball is pressed hard against the socket, instead of suspended by muscles, it will grind cartilage away over time.

Anyone else not feeling their chest half the time and not feeling sore the next day after workout? I-ve been so good at chest but it slowed dramatically at 40kg-50kg bench. I-ve need stuck in that weight for months -

Some good things, one of the last video shots, guy with dumbells on inclines bench turning his wrists is an absolute no, no. This will damage your shoulders with any significant amount of weight.

I tried your method in Mistake #4. I could feel the tension in my chest muscle but I still could only feel soreness in my arms instead of my chest after bench pressing. May I know why?

For the RPE, basically you should reach something close to failure but not to absolute maximum failure. Keep the weights to what your body can do, not what you think you can do.

I'm older but can't build my chest. I have no one ro spot me so I just want to make it more defined, not necessarily bigger. Would light loads but like 25 or 30 reps do anything?

I think I have bad genetics for growing chest muscles because I-d bench press for 2 years back in my high school gym and my chest never showed any music growth
