I'm sorry, for guys over 40, I highly suggest a different route to bulk up: sugary fruit juices, cereals, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, etc. are not real healthy. Yeah peanut butter occasionally is ok, but with jelly and when you're older not so good. Those items should be minimal. Bulking can include much healthier items like one you did mention; avocados. Include avocados, sweet potatoes, cottage cheese, olive oils not heated up, whole grain pasta (not for everyone of course) and other healthier fats and carbs + small amounts of what you mentioned, now you can bulk up in a healthier way.

Most of the points are useful but fruit juice or fructose in the quantities I suspect it says, is damaging (as opposed to eating fruits. Also whilst blending is useful for additional calories, it does not allow the gut to do it-s job as it-s meant to. Similarly arbitrarily just loading up on calories for the sake of external mass overlooks the fact that you-re not giving time for the digestive system to rest - which is perhaps more important for overall health.

I've been training for 3 years and have experimented a lot with diet. It doesn't matter whether I'm eating at a 2000 kcal surplus with a lot of carbs or a 1000 kcal deficit with no carbs. It doesn't affect my gains at all (remaining either slow or stagnant. Are there people who just don't respond to bulking? Or do I need an even higher surplus for it to take effect?

It's time to put some meat. I'm fed up of looking like a lollipop. Been going to the gym for 3 weeks now. I also got myself a meal plan (which I got online from site Next Level Diet btw) and I am very satisfied with its flexibility and simplicity. I hope I will make it and make myself proud at least once in my life!

So I weight 170 and I-m 6-4 so say for break fast I make one of the shakes and have eggs with avocados then for my brunch I can do fruit and peanut buttery sandwiches with the fruit juice but then now what should I do for my lunch?

Hey I-m 24 140 lbs 5-11 Going to be getting married in three months, and joining the police academy shortly thereafter.

Other good ways I get healthy fats in my diet are foods like unsalted nuts and seeds, low sugar nut butter, and omega 3 rich fish like tuna, salmon, and mackerel to name a few.

The problem with me is that i got fast metabolism and walk to school and walk back home which equals to 5 miles per day 5 days per week hopefully dis helps me gain weight
