I'm 38 years old, and I used to think this way most of my youth. I did some time in the military as an infantryman when I was young, and I couldn't help but notice that most of the training revolved around calisthenics and running. In a hunter-gatherer setting, this is what works. We all got hit by civil unrest last year, and all that extra bulk will slow you down for the zombies (and the mostly peaceful protesters) so I suggest to you all to start working on actual functional strength and conditioning.
I don't do bench press anymore, I have a push, pull, leg, and cardio routine. Most days I do a run, on the days I don't run I do whatever happens to come next on the strength training split. Push day consists mostly of push ups and bodyweight dips, and some military presses. Legs I do lunges, squats, and the leg press, high on reps. Pull day is mostly pull ups, then finish it up with cable pull downs and bent over rows, then bicep curls (I am human after all, and I like my biceps looking good.

I hava geneticaly good chest and bad triceps so my arms aren't that big but when i wear tight shirts that show off my chest everxone is just omg you are so well built but if they can't see my chest they are like you don't look like that. I have been on definition for some time so arms aren't that big but now i am going on a bulk and strenght with my new program that prioritizes triceps.
P. S my biceps are huge-

I think 90 percent of this is genetics. If you're lifting for strength you should be gaining muscle mass too. Super chiseling muscles only really matter if you're 5 percent body fat or you juice. If you're natural, and you powerlift within 15 years you'll gain all the muscle you genetically are capable of gaining I think

Mine is different. I don't want people to know I lift that's why I wear big shirts. I hardly admit to anybody that I lift. The idea of people being attracted to me because of my physique seems vain. I am more than my body. When people ask me if I lift, I just tell them that I am eating good.

Is a cheat meal a week where I don't track calories going to hinder progress in a leanbulk? Like eating out with friends and such? No alcohol but just some places with no nutritional information where I take it chill and of course don't eat like a pig: D
reply

Bruh 4 percent per week for me that's 25 pounds per month so in 2 months I will go from 150 to 200 bruh that's has to be lots of fat. There's no way I can go from 150 to 200 in 2 months and not look like shit

Even with not the greatest genetics anyone who works out will be healthier and happy and see some kind of progress with a good core nutrition plan. 80 80 20 amd more cardio during cuts. Easy as pie. Build then cut.
