One thing you see plastered on social media, and other fitness outlets, are stories of people-s tremendous success and amazing transformation. People who have the quintessential side-by-side photo where they went from a size 22 to a size 4. The new-found bodybuilders who went from flab to six-pack abs. Or maybe they have gained some weight and went from being scrawny to being jacked. In any event, they all have one thing in common. They all track their progress. And if you are serious about losing weight and gaining muscle, you need to start tracking your progress as well. How can you know if you have improved if you don-t even know where you began? Tracking your progress is far more than just knowing your starting weight and your goal weight. For example, you might see an increase of - pound on the scale tomorrow morning, but that could be muscle gain. So you may be asking. Why track your progress? The answer to this question is simple. What gets measured gets managed. Not only will you be able to see how far you have come, but you are also able to see the roadblocks that could be detrimental to reaching your fitness goals

Lol. Yeah. Fitness pics everywhere -. Lots of flashback photos. One chest meal never hurt anyone -. There-s full days and dry days. Best not to weight yourself when you start lifting. Just keep kicking ass for at least 4 weeks and let the mirror do the talking. I always say when pants get loose is the best indicator or going from the X large to the large t shirts.

You can look great, but then a day goes by and you feel as though you don't look great enough, so you exercise again. Women aren't attracted to big muscles, they're attracted to confidence. Long story short, you'll never feel muscular enough, and women are more interested in confidence over looks.

Another brilliant video, informative, not sugar coated and simple to follow. I'm 36 years old, 6'5- and 205 lbs so I shall be implementing loads of things in this video with my goal in mind to hit 240. Thank you and I wish you every success and growth bro!

Received your book this week. Only a quarter through and picked up a lot. Thanks for the layman's explanation as this is new to me. Let's see what the effect on being on the wrong side of 45 will be?

You're totally on point with suggesting keeping a workout diary - keeping everything written down helps a great deal more than trying to just keep it all in your head - good video!

Kids this takes time but if u stick with it good things will happen. Don-t keep track of anything except being sore after a workout and go in sore and do it some more.

Spot on. I found myself going through the motions at the gym a few months back. As soon as I started keeping a workout journal my workouts exploded. Great vid!
