Ready to hit those triceps and get some growth? Let's get after it! Today I continued the series on common mistakes I see people make when doing tricep exercises. You might not agree with all of them but I challenge you to give each of these a try and see for yourself. Every client I've trained/person I've demonstrated even one of these to has completely changed the way they train

LOL! My home Gym is Cap Weight. Maybe you should do a video on the best home and gym equipment and why it is the best. I'm poor thought, so I go with Clubber Lang style gym, and I think a gym like that would be AWESOME. I think the best gym equipment would the best commercial quality bumpers though, even though I really don't know shit. But. I'm learning from you and the AthLxxxx guy. Thanks for all the painful and properly taught advice. So few guys explain technique for free.

Hey -RyanHumiston. I've noticed that after noticeably gaining your hair back, you have started to lose it again. Did you stop using that brand you once advertised or did it just stop working (I'm just taking notes on that for myself as I might soon need something along those lines)?
Thanks a lot for the always useful, well researched, honest content.
Regarding the gym equipment question: Matrix fitness.

So we-re not supposed to read case studies and listen to the people who study this stuff the most seriously; we-re supposed to listen to you, who misspells -triceps- and uses the word -flex- when they mean -extend, - just because you-ve taken more anabolics. I guess the fact that this video isn-t immediately laughed off is the reason we have flat-earthers and anti-vaxxers.

Gym equipment: bench press with wide barbell holders so can vary grips, cable machine with twin pulleys, cage, adjustable bench, barbells, dumbbells, different handles for cable machine. If you have the money & space some proarc and hammerstrength machines, lat pulldown machine, ezy curl bar. Thanks Ryan for the instruction -

Ryan Humiston usually posts good material here but one thing which is a big error is when he says do not make full extension on your reps, triceps for instance, as he suggests here. more pain yes Ryan Humiston but you are creating short muscle heads like your arms have. big negative in your technique -Ryan Humiston

I've never run another person's program before, but I'll probably give Ryan's a shot when it comes out. 25yrs training, and just started hypertrophy focused training for the first time when the virus hit. I've incorporated a lot of his concepts into my program, and now I wear a lot more tank tops. Suns out.

Actually, it's only partly correct. Partial reps do exactly that. They work the muscles part way. If you google olympic trainees who use partial reps then you'll know why.
In other words, you need to do the full range for full development. But partial reps have their place.

good job.
since you asked. i like good old iron, barbells and dumbbells. i remember years ago at a gym called nrg, they had hammer strength machines for everything, best machines i have used. i drove an hour a day to this gym to kill myself, and it was awesome.

Just about anything made by Sorinex is going to be about the best of the best these days. You show them the space, and they will custom make what you want/need with CAD software. University and Pro gyms with their equipment are undeniably top shelf.

He's got great knowledge. I do however think some stuff needs to be altered for some people. But like he says the feeling needs to be pain on that direct muscle. But slightly altering hands, Wrists and possibly posture.
