Ready to put some serious size on that back? This workout will get it done and it-s all about LAT PULLDOWNS! I thought it was important to make this video to show a few of the different variations you can do with this machine and you could spend the entire time here and almost hit your ENTIRE back

Hello Ryan, I just started training about 3 months ago and found out that one side of my body is smaller than the other. I have a great right trap but a small left trap. This is something I could feel and see with my bench press as I got close to failure my left side couldn-t keep up with my right. As I continue to train will my weak half catch up with my strong half? Thanks a lot, awesome videos and keep up the great work!

Can honestly say you are in a lane of your own Ryan! Haven't ever seen any variations like this in my years of lifting. I think your variations are pretty dope overall. I do have to say though im kind of confused on the super short ROM. I lift in a very bodybuilder old fashion way so this is different to me having always been taught to go with full ROM. Maybe you could speak to this and the thinking behind?

Tomorrow is my back day. I-m gonna definitely do this. Cause my normal back days I feel it but I feel like something is missing like I didn-t leave it all out there or I feel unsatisfied with the workout itself. Like I didn-t do the workout correctly or I just didn-t like it. Idk tbh. But this looks fun and a lot better for the back. I-m in there lol

Please accept my first comment here as one of sincere gratitude for this and all of your videos which have helped get my butt off the couch and motivated to lift. While I'll never reach the success you're experiencing, the gym has done much to improve my mental health in this challenging year. Thank you for everything you do.

I prefer pull-ups myself so I don-t need another piece of equipment. I do understand many can-t do enough pull-ups to feel like they are doing any good but you have to start somewhere. I started at 2 and now do sets of 20 and as many as 200 in a workout. If I had enough room I would have a lay machine though.

Been following Ryan for about 3-4 months, I have incorporated many of his techniques. Man you know your stuff! I wish I knew this honey mine of info years ago. I use your modified back extension exercise as a therapy exercise for postural positioning. Keep up the great work. Or Get after it, get growing hahaha

Just bought a TDS lat machine from New York Barbrll Co. I have a wide variety of attachments. I used your two last ones the D handle and the rope. Your right, those are great! Can't, wait to connect all my LPG muscle fat grip bars, and try some of your exercise suggestions! Thanks!

Something I've never thought about in all the years of lifting and pulling you leave the biceps completely out of it by keeping them contracted and just concentrate straight on the lats. Something I'm going to give it a try. Thanks again for all the info. ---

Great vid as always! Done a few back sessions recently and struggling to get that connection in the back, any tips?
Also, forearms seem to jump in way too much and take too much of the load on straight bar pulldowns, any thoughts?

What workouts do I do if I just want to become strong. like really strong? I don't care about body building or feeling every muscle. I just want to be able to grab someone, pick them up, and throw them. That kind of raw strength.
