I've had a few people ask for it so let's start getting into a few videos on how to diet to lose fat and build muscle. This will be particularly helpful to you if you're not getting results or a vegan athlete. I have a feeling this will spawn several other videos on specific types of diets so If you want more detailed information then I'll be happy to dive deeper into each specific meal plan I've followed but the principles are still the same!

So, i dieted and exercised basically 5, 6, 7 days a week the past 2 years. Got to a good weight, decent muscle mass etc. still had some fat that collected around my chest and stomach. Cut some more calories, upped the protein and looked decent. Im 39, 5-8- and was about 140. Im going for the lean muscle type build. I have bad joints so being lighter definitely helps. A few months back I hurt my elbow real bad and basically couldn-t lift. Only body weight stuff. Push ups pull-ups, very light weighs etc. because of this I lost like 10-12 pounds of muscle mostly. I-m still strong but look too skinny especially with clothes on u can-t see my muscle underneath. I-ve been trying to put on -healthy- weight but can-t seem too. Any advice from anyone would be great? Btw I eat at least 50 percent protein. Not crazy about carbs but I-ll do fruits and veggies. I have celiacs so I can-t have gluten, which pasta and shit isn-t what I want anyways. Im just starting to be able to use a little more weight when I lift. But still only doing about 60 percent of the weight I was 4 months ago. I-m sick of everyone telling me to -eat a donut - etc. any advice?

pea protein is shit, together with a lot of processed food like soy, rice powders and other vegan crap. Eat real food and u ll be fine, pea protein is a scam and i bet this guy sells the stuff.
Here is the proceess to get pea protein powders:
One is to precipitate the proteins to their isoelectric point at very high temperature. It gets a thermo-coagulated protein to be used in animal nutrition.
The second one process is to precipitate the protein to its isoelectric point, and then solubilizing the dry spray. It gets a white powder of purified protein that can be used in human nutrition.
I bet they can probably extract protein from dog shit and, if marketed correctly on u tube, peple would buy it no question asked. Buy fresh eggs people! This u tube, remember!

I'm not a bodybuilder but your videos are quite good, both in content and visually: raw information based on experience on you not from -papers- and visually by changing camera angles, light, etc. Good shit man! Keep it supine, I mean up hahaha. Oh yeah, also you know your stuff, not only you talk about muscles but ALSO about origins and insertions, I don't think I've ever heard anything similar for contents like yours. Well F done! You don't produce videos but pills of truth, I might make a t-shirt with that hahaha.

Been watching fitness videos for years and discovering you a few months ago is a game changer. Love your honesty and creativity. Did not know you were vegan until today. crazy! Was also comforting to hear what you said about shakes, I always thought real food was better than shakes but when I lean out shakes make it so much easier to stay in that calorie deficit and still hit my protein intake goal. Thanks again for all you do -

Love it. Listening closely to what you say, taking ecerything that works for me. and it does work. Massive difference. Question though. Would love to see a video on hybrid athletes. I run long distance (very slowly) I am also trying to body building following mainly your style. Thoughts on combining the 2 and best ways to do this. 2 weeks time I have a 50 mile ultra.

I used to use sunwarrior because it also has hemp protein too. However, I want to have more shakes now and Sunwarrior is expensive. I want 100% Pea protein unflavored with no sugar and or extra carbs. Sunwarrior was fermented and there isn't much unflavored fermented pea protein. does the ferment matter in muscle gains? can I ferment it on my own?

This video is mainly meant for rich people who can afford supplements what about those who cant afford supplements dont they have the right to get big they have no other options but to get big and strong with carb rich foods its better to be big and strong with some fats rather than thin and weak

clear & concise. I keep it even simpler if ur not vegan. Eat greek yogurt, almonds, protein isolate, BCAA's and sugars under 80grams. Low carb too, and casein at night (six start cuz its 9g carb. You should be good
Cut: white meat and rice
Bulk: red meat and potatoes, chocolate milk

bought one of your workout programs today. can't wait for tomorrow's gym session. could you write what you eat each day? how you get enough protein in a 4 hr window (warrior diet) and what do you mean by carb loading? whole grain rice, soybean noodles or pizzas with pepperoni? thanks
