How To Force Muscle Growth (Science Backed Method)

The New (Garage) Upper/Lower Program is LIVE! Let's face it, we all have muscles that seemly take years to respond and it's the worst! I spent a solid month digging up whatever research I could trying to find anything related to bringing up stubborn body parts. While there weren't any what I would consider winners (research lines up perfectly to answer the question) I gathered some valuable information on how we can structure our workouts going forward to force these stubborn muscles to grow! #musclebuilding #hypertrophy #bodybuilding

Something that I feel that Ryan does not address is the amount of HGH one's body is naturally secreting. The older one gets, the less HGH is generated in the body which helps the muscles grow. At some point growth hormone seems to shut off which is why guys like Sly Stallone, Arnold, even Ronnie Coleman to a degree see their muscles actually SHRINK. I'm almost 63 years old, and train 5x a week, upper body 3x and legs and core 2x. While I'm able to maintain my level of strength (mostly, I'm getting zero muscle growth. I am OK with that as my joints aren't getting any younger.
She's gorgeous by the way.

I think there is something about neural connection with certain muscles. When cultivated, you are able to flex the single muscle properly and strongly. I suppose this means that you can both activate it more but, and this is my real caveat, not only gets used properly but gets as well proper nutrition. Neural connection possibly means you can activated better than other muscles but what if it also detects better damage and delivers better adaptation

Less about genetics and more about mindset, being open minded, and not believing everything you hear.
Not stressing if you don't get the results you want, less assuming, more research and not worrying.
Just doing your best.
If it's mot working, maybe you're doing something wrong, & something needs to change.
But if you're making progress, especially with just feeling better & health,
Be thankful.

I'm gifted with upper legs and glutes (as a dude, which is great as I train legs once per week and train upper (with calves) 3x per week. My forearms, calves and neck are the muscles groups that have taken the most work. In fact if I train legs 2x per week in a bulking period it starts to look disproportional and makes my average calves look like chicken legs lol

I'm 44 and returned to the gym after a couple of years lay off, over the past 12 months of logging my workouts iv noticed that I can go 10 days between training a bodypart and make more progress than training that same bodypart twice a week, and that's a increase in weight and reps(maybe only a few kgs or 1-2 more reps but its progress.

scienced based stuff is so funny because there are to many variables to get anything reliable out of and the person were addressing is probably a hyper responder to var or primo lol also TRT is not 200mgs a week lol I tried to get mine bumped up to my endocrinologist who laughed at me.

Great content, great thick Asian legs too. Try to find a wife who will balance out your weak muscles, to make symmetrical juniors. My daughter's mom hass similar calves as the 'Asian lady' from basically nothing (some dancing some years nothing and some martial arts.

wait hold on does this mean that it is better to do more fullbody workouts while having moderate sets. i mean if u did the fullbody u gonna increase the frequency while having great opportunity to manage the sets

Yeah. keep taking the steroids, Ryan, and posting about muscle growth. that constant pink tone to your skin. you'll have to quit soon before your heart over-distends or a kidney starts to fail.

Man, I love that most exercise science shown in these videos are from brazilian research. Makes me proud of my peers and universities I've been to (USP, UFSCAR, UNIFESP) that are all public-funded

And she is completely natural like you with your Hair
You sure that's a she There's a visible lump over there. Iam not sure if that's normal
Dam where is Anatoly when you need him

Not about hyper response. It's about the women being born with the genetics, natural big legs and then she trains them. Even if she didn't train her legs would be bigger than 98% of men.

Ryan when it comes to forearms, function is more important than size. Sledgehammer, weighted axes, hammers, and swords challenge the hands and forearms. As well as rock climbing.

Ryan, I bought your 6 week upper lower workout a few weeks ago, and I have zero idea how to read it in pdf form. Can you do a video a somehow explain how to read it lol

I think I’m just too tall. 65. Upper body looks great, legs are toothpicks. I’ve come to the conclusion that because I’m tall, nutrients just dont travel to my legs.
reply

all I herd was some people have great genetics and others have shit genetics and no matter how hard you train if your genetics are trash then there’s no hope

The tree trunk legs on that chick are unreal.
Some pro bodybuilders work their entire lives and spend thousands on gear and never get legs as crazy as that.

I don't train my biceps. Compound exercises are enough to make them grow. In comparison, I spend hours in my delts and they look like shit. Thanks for this video!

Hello Dear Ryan, can you Kindly draw a vertical line in permanent marker that reaches from your cranium apex to halfway down your forehead, much gratitude.
