I have a weak inner quad which, among other things, allows my patella to sublux. A month ago i had a subluxation and tore my ACL and Meniscus at the same time. Wasn't interested in surgery so I got a second opinion. This doc called me a pussy and told me to get my ass into pt and strengthen my inner quads which he referred to as -nonexistent-. I am new to the gym and working to get into overall better shape with a focus on my quads. Will these exercises allow quad growth without causing additional damage to my ACL and meniscus? Or do you recommend something different. Thanks

So, I get the place, eat of feet on the leg press - either turning the toes out or a wide stance with the toes off the platform (these are variations in the horizontal plane. But how do you know where to place your feet in terms of the vertical plane? In other words, How do you know where your feet go relative to how far away they are to the plane of your body. With your heels directly below your shoulders, that would be in the plane, but it looks like the feet are more above that?

This is so wild. I'm not a noob, years and years in the gym. Took a couple years off, and just trying to re-educate myself, as always. The form on the leg raises lights up my outside quad. I have overpowered outside quad from the time off. I found that I can really light up interior with knees close, feet wide, toes out and curled up. Moght just be an over powered outer quad situation.

In Thailand, all those Muay Thai kids have over developed vastus medialis. I think because they do teeps, or push kicks, with their knees spread wide because they rotate the heel on their rear foot inward, everytime. This excercise definitely explains why this happens and how to overload instead just pumping it.

Had tibial plateau fracture a year ago and my vmo shut off. Im squatting a little bit of weight again still cant go into depth and i still get pain on the outter part of my leg near were the break was making it harder to fully flex my quads. Atm my legs are visibly 2 different sizes

leg extension (feet wide) (poss: unilateral variation)
diagonal leg press ( dorsi flexion (feet 1010 and wide)
diagonal leg press ( wider feet) dorsiflexion) (stay in rom)

I remember when I first started training legs my knees would hurt and I thought I had knee problems but after powering through and stretching often, my knees got stronger over time, so if your knees hurt sometimes you just need to keep going and ignore it
