Ready to get those biceps growing? I made this video last night to go over some exercises that will help push you past any plateau. Couple things to note, don't be afraid to get inventive with your training. Sometimes the best exercises for YOU are slight variations, other times they are completely off the wall movements that work really well for you biomechanics. Let me know in the comments if you want more videos like this!

I just turned 70 and I go to the gym every day except Thurs and Friday (work schedule. Mon, and Wed are chest days. Tues, and Saturday are for arms. I spend 60-90 mins on my arms, mostly cross cable machine (20, 25, and work up to 30 lbs, preacher curls (45 and work up to 70lbs, and barbell curls (50 to 70 lbs. Chest (90 mins) is cable machine, decline press machine (no benches- painful shoulder, and incline dumbell (25-30lbs. Plus I spend 20-30 mins on bike before and after weights.
I drink protein shake (25 grams) before and after workout, and another protein shake in the afternoon. For a guy my age I'm lifting more than many half my age, but I don't seem to be growing arms or chest. Suggestions? Maybe you can do video for 60 -70 year old guys.

Ryan's advices have led to the most effective exercises I have ever done (and most excruciating, but results speak for themselves. I did calisthenics and bodyweight exercises mostly, but I have found these extra tips of his for these types of exercises to be far more effective and satisfying to me personally than any painful occasions before that in the gym. In the process I took a muscle gain plan from Dietarize, and without any additional supplements needed, my muscles started to grow massively over the last two months. Thank you Ryan for all the work you have done over the years.

Sure appreciate your sharing all this. I subb'd a week or two ago and have been watching, intently, since then. Just started back at the gym after almost 2 years. Your methods are really helping me a) get through my workouts faster, and b) getting a way better connection based workout in! Sitting around between sets is dead to me! I am looking forward to great improvements, even for this old guy. Thank you again. Also, if you have any tips on working out with, say, a previously damaged bicep, I would love to hear them. You're doing a great service here. Cheers.

Hey Dude! - Working out on/off since 1990's. I decided to try your workout variation starting with bi's to see the affects. Pleased to say I have a very good muscle soarness & looking forward to trying other muscle group workouts. Full Range Motion < RH Method (working out so far as far as soarness difference between full range and non) Generally speaking my bi's feels more isolated & fatigued using less weight that has more of a isometrics type feel (vs Weider workout, but happy muscles is all that matters here. Keep up the good work dude! -

I-ve started doing dumbbell curls, start with palms facing out, curl, hold and the top and rotate wrist to facing eachother, rotate back to palms up, then down.
I-ve seen a crazy amount of growth, never been one to see veins in my biceps but after a while of doing those I can definitely start to see a difference in tone and muscle definition

I like how you showed us the execution of each movement. The third exercise was not too clear on the cable machine set up and adjustments. I know you-re trying to be succinct but the visual part really helps us better understand your advice. Thanks!

I hope this dude was prior service if not he missed a calling. He killed me talking about air lats. He said he was goanna call someone's mom if they came to the gym flying around like an airplane! Hilarious and to the point. Well done

In 5 minutes there was 1. Quick but and highly informative explanation followed swiflty by 2. Demonstration and 3. Some good banter in there. Guy deserves more subs, way more
