Another great video, and I've gotten into focusing on that head lately. It has really helped to improve the overall shape of my upper arm. The first exercise - the palms-up cable pushdown - i like to do it standing facing away from the cable stack, obviously putting the cable very high, and I think this helps automatically with that cue of making an arc over the elbows. The medial head has been found to be highly activated at 90 degrees of shoulder elevation (humerus parallel to the floor. I find 90 degrees or slightly more gives the best feel, but this feel is also affected by how far away from the stack you go, as well as being affected by your height and how high the cable originates. Might need to fine tune exactly how you execute it.

My training and improvements have come from watching and implementing all the info from Ryan. It takes time, patience, blood, sweat and tears along with an anabolic cookbook and all of this has changed my life and health. Thank you Ryan for all that you do, it is truly appreciated. Remember, mind and muscle connection, training hard and what you put in your piehole, not ego lifting will produce the results you want.

Hi Ryan, great video. Thanks for taking the time out and for doing these. I have a question. When it comes to working a muscle group how many exercises for that muscle group is enough before you do too many. For example 4 different exercises for that particular muscle vs 6. I tend to go light and do 30 reps, when I can do 30 reps 3 times I up the weight. Is this good or bad
Thanks Rich

Until now I have never been able to sit through a video on fitness of any kind. Most of the guys out there like to hear themselves talk. I have been training since the 80s. I am 51 years old and I am the strongest guy at my gym. As I get older I'm having a hard time getting firmness and definition of my outer pectoral. I would love to see a video on that

Dude, I cannot tell you how great this video is for me.
I have always struggled with my triceps. Even at my biggest (which is not that big- 215 pounds at 6 feet, my arms looks really big from the front or sides but EMBARRASSINGLY small from the back. I think this will be a huge benefit. I did nothing like this when training.
Thank you!

Wait, Where's the 10 minute intro about your gym? Where's the history lesson on the evolution of triceps workouts? Where's the anatomy class on triceps tendons an bone structure? You mean you make a video about training your triceps and only discuss training your triceps? .you sir, are a genius.

For the skull crushers, that ROM is very nice but I-ve had surgery for a torn labrum in my right shoulder and that ROM just isn-t possible for me.
Is there any other tips for skull crushers other than tucking your elbow, lowering the weight, and decreasing the ROM? Thanks

I think genetics and anatomy play the biggest role in how your muscles grow and the size they develop. I've been doing all these workouts for almost 2yrs now and somehow, someway, they are not growing much.

03: 11 I just did 3 quick sets of these, & I must say it is fantastic! However, it will be a bit before I can do them with an Olympic bar, & a 45 lb disc on each side. (daaaaay'um)
