Right now I weight 160 and I-m 25 and 5 11
. 4 months ago I weighed 160. 3 months ago I started eat chicken every day with protein pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, bananas, salmon, beef, pork, steaks, peas and I snack on pbjs and turkey sandwiches. At work I walk to to 15 miles a day as a production manager for 2 shops. I run 12 miles a week training for a marathon, I also have a goat to be 179 by October. I watch your videos everyday. What is the most thing I should be eating and exercises I need to ritualy hit rep wise to meet my goals or increased indurance and muscle mass gains. I-ve always been a endurance athlete but never heavily incorporated lifting in my lifestyle. Thanks keep up the vids and add in some jokes about runners

I feel like I-m the exact opposite. I can do pull-ups with great form and my lat pull downs are relatively strong. My lats rarely feel sore but my mid back is thick and my traps are decent. I also have long ass arms, I-m essentially an orangutan.
Any suggestions for dudes with shit lat genetics?

Nobody at my gym. other than me. does the bent over row from the floor. they all do that half leaning forward upright row BS or a machine. I can't wait for the day that their lower back spasms out on them and they buckle. I have lower back issues and bent over row doesn't bother me.

This dude is my main source of new info for now. Best put together videos I've seen besides Athlean X, and they dabble too much with trying to be funny.
Yet John Meadows was a beast and a hell of a nice guy, but his videos put me to sleep

I need this question answered. Ive added the 3 sets of 20. I feel it but building muscle is in 8 rep range. So im wondering one week of 3 x 20 and 2 weeks of sets of 8. Its important cause this is my workout for the next year.

3: 15 Eddie Robinson f. d his back doing that barbell row.
Not a fan of that exercise. Too taxing for the low back, not a good position to be in when lifting heavy weights.
1 arm dumbbell rows are a way better choice.

i find that doing rows (dumbbell or barbell) while standing up takes too much energy and i don't have enough in the tank to finish a proper workout. is that a common issue or am i just lacking cardio on some level?

Ryan, seriously loving your take, appreciate you putting it out there!
I'm sure you've run the gamut on lifting straps, which ones do you like the best, are they the ones you're wearing in this video?

I have realized I'm that pullup guy. My upper back is weirdly thick and my lower back is non existant lmao. I did only pullups for almost a year every day so thats probably why.
