Yes yes I'm trying to get back into bodyweight workout after shit tons of injuries and years left behind it + 35kg heavier and lost so much muscle now I'm back at it and can't even do a one pull up so I'm doing pretty much all the basics of whatever I can do in order to remind of my body that there's a muscle that has been asleep for looong time. Honestly the last duck pull ups are super clever I don't know how I never happen to notice them on any videos orr come as a idea to me

Very good video but I did notice that your chin was just touching the bar, and also in a lot of videos guys are doing this by raising there chin, I was tough that a proper pull up or chin up is to keep your head straight and lifting it over the bar, When we were in competition if there was not light between your chin and the bar the rep did not count, or if you razed your chin it did not count. Head straight and chin over the bar, for 1 rep.

How often in a week do you do pull-ups strength training? I've never done pull-ups in the past and the next day(s) I'm feeling a lot joint pain arms and shoulder. I have continued each day and it just feel more pain. Any advice? Does this pass? Do I take a break, and if so, for how long? I just don't want to cause damage in the begin. Yet I do want to get strong enough to finally do pullups.

Iv got an autoimmune disease that effects my hands. Anything with my hands is hard. Though I don't let that stop me.
In the last 7 months iv gone from 265pounds(no pullups) to 190(ten pullups. I focused on losing the weight, now I'm working on a fit and lean body.
If I can do it, so can you. Keep trying and done give up.
Ps great video buff guys. Like always.

Hey everyone! Had a lot of questions regarding which weights you should be using while working out (specifically in STAGE 1 of our SUPERHERO PLAN) so I'm currently making a video on that now before heading into STAGE 2. In the meantime we hope you enjoy this video on how to perform PULL-UPS! STAY BUFF. -Brandon

I seen a good amount of pull up videos for beginners and most don't provide as much info as this video.
And the comment hyDrangeas Maria's comment on set and rep is a big thumbs up.
This video is now my go-to to work on my pull up journey.
THANK YOU!

As a woman is really nice to see the perspective on both a woman and man. Alot of training videos are directed at men who are already quite built and its harder to figure out exactly what im doing. thank you for this!

Great tips. Can somebody please clarify, are we supposed to do each exercise for a certain period of time/number of times per week or roll them all into a single workout from the outset? Thanks!
