Build your endurance with this workout - superhero plan stage 2 day 1 - Buff Dudes DJ: Not hating just pointing out, you guys had fast twitch and slow twitch backwards. Type 1- slow twitch fibers- great for endurance, slow to fatigue. Take the longest to burn out. Type II, can be split into two as well. Type IIa- fast twitch, kind of a mix, better strength, fatigue quicker, okay for endurance. Type IIx- fast twitch, fatigue the fastest, great for explosive movements, fatigue the fastest. You'll see with muscle biopsies that these fibers affect which type of athlete you are. Type 1 dominant, great for endurance sports, type II dominant, better with weight lifting sports. There are always outliers, but this is the ground work of exercise physiology.

I've been following this plan so far as a newbie to the gym, I'm of a relatively thinner build but wouldn't consider myself skinny, I am trying to bulk and now I've gotten to this stage I was wondering if this is an ideal plan to follow whilst trying to put on mass or whether I should instead follow something like the buff dudes bulking plan instead? I see it says fat shred but I'm trying to put on weight and am now seeing that maybe this is the wrong plan for me in my current stage? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the video guys, just have a question! If by the end of the 3 week cycle I'm still doing the -beginner 2 sets- instead of the full 3, is it ok to progress to the strength phase anyway, or should I stick with endurance until I can do the complete sets of circuits?

Type 2a and 2x fibers are fast twitch. type 1 is slow. You got your fiber types wrong. And even in circuit training youre still working primarily type 2a fibers because anaerobic glycolysis lasts up to 90 seconds. you mustof missed this while editing.

Hey, guys. Huge, long-time fan. Loving this Superhero Plan thus far.
I'm building a gym in a larger space like yours and was curious what floor mats you opted to use? They have great coverage and seem like the perfect level of firmness.

I just got the superhero book. I'm just wondering because my gym doesn't have a hex bar and it also doesn't have a sled push. I figure I can just lift heavy dumbbells at both my sides for hex bar, but what can I substitute sled push?

Don-t mean to be an ass but actually the various Type 2 fibers are known as fast twitch fibers, type 1 are the slow switch -endurance-fibers- other than that, this looks like a nicely laid out circuit!

Good & educational video as always! But I must be honest dudes. -Fat Shredd Workout- is a ridiculous text for the thumbnail. Dont become one of those -BURN FAT WITH THESE EXERCISES- people.

Didn-t Brandon confuse type 1 and type 2 fibers? Type 2 are anaerobic and type 1 is aerobic. Type 2 burn out fast and then type 1 takes over not vice versa

I'm starting this whole plan tomorrow so I'm staring with the -pre phase 1- 3 day starter just to get back into it before starting properly
