One simple exercise to blow your quads up! - sissy squats quad exercise tutorial - Buff Dudes Future: If there are people out there that think that this exercises is pointless. it's not. The sissy squat works the teardrop muscle of the quads (vastus medialis) while the regular squat does not, the regular squat targets the vastus lateralis which is the the biggest muscle of the quads located at the outer side from the front view. If you want the complete asthetic look of complete quads, you need to perform both exercises. Trust me it makes a difference.

For everyone saying it-s bad for your knees, it can be if you don-t regress the exercise to your level. Progress slowly overtime and it will make your quads bigger, more flexible/mobile and bulletproof your knees.

Nice - forgot about these, did them a decade ago not sure how my body will react at 38 now though - f--k it I'll give it a bash!

Can we PLEASE stop calling these -Sissy- Squats! I say we start calling them -Neo- Squats since you look like you-re dodging bullets.

My left knee cap will crunch doing this, not risking it as a regular exercise but might give the kneeling variation a go thanks.
