great video bar the 'single arm chinups' - that exercise in fact still uses both arms and is not much harder than a regular chinup. it puts a lot of stress on your wrist and so isn't advised, and offers no advantages over a regular chinup. if anyone is looking to develop one arm pulling strength I would recommend trying single arm rows, towel pull ups, archer pull ups, or use rings at different heights to focus on one arm.

I was so naive, I-d see these huge guys doing the stack + a plate on pull downs & not realise it was 80% of their body weight. I spent so long trying for absolute strength on those machines instead of pursuing what matters - relative strength.

You're extremely strong relative to your own bodyweight. I did powerlifting for over a decade and when I switched to bw training and performance conditioning I feel 10x better. Plus I still get a damn good workout moving 215lbs around. LOL

BTW - Does grabbing your wrist count as a one arm pullup/chin up? You're getting assistance from the arm gripping the wrist to help with the pull.

Hi Cori, i see you cross your ankles behind you in the pull up. Is this to ensure anterior pelvic tilt through the movement?

I recently started training in Aerial hoop and wanted to build my pull strength. I never imagined how versatile the bars can be!
