Great video, Corey. I did have one question (and I know this can vary with each person, but what weight are you using in the video? I have some weights (and a curl bar, but I'm thinking about investing in some dumbbells, but am undecided as to which to start with. 15, 20, 25? I figure 25 is too much for for this kind of routine. I'm not a big weightlifter. I'm more into running, but I would like to start doing some dumbbell routines but can't decide on what a good dumbbell start weight would be.

I travel a lot so I-m always looking for great variations to my workout routines and this will add a much needed dynamic shift to what am already doing. I don-t always have equipment at my disposal so I bring my bands on the road with me so seeing how to incorporate bands into this routine really helps. Thank you for the great tips, I still watch your kettle bell series when I-m at home, maybe you can put together a couple full body videos that focus on how to use just bands.

Hi, I think your videos are great. I was wondering if you'd tell me how tall you are and how much you weight. This is just idle curiosity. I'm not trying to compare myself etc. I know we are all different. But I was just interested to know. You look great! Worked but not overworked. I know this video is older, but my guess is you stay pretty consistent. Or I can always look at your latest video. Thanks!

I have laughed at people saying you must spend hours at the gym all my 42 yrs of training. I have over trained early on but not to a great extent. I spend 1 half our to 45 minutes per workout 3 days per wk in the gym. I have as good of gains as anyone. People over do it badly. Glad that I never have even when competing in bodybuilding

I have scoliosis my right arm, shoulder, rotator, and scapula, and rib have been very tight lately which makes me nervous about working out at all, but I know that fear is worthless. yet working out would be a great help to my body health.
Do you have any suggestions?
I really enjoy your passion!
Thank you!

I second nearly everything what is mentioned in this video, except working towards failure. This isn't necessary to build muscle. Concentrate on a beautiful form (including posture) and you will see the result, without -suffering-.

I-m a guy and I do more and heavier sets on shoulder/bi/tri day but this is an excellent warmup move for me leading into my full workout. Do a couple of sets of these and I-m ready to go. Well explained and demonstrated. Good job.

I've been working out quite a while now using my plastic dumbbells, however I am still lacking muscles especially my forearms are so stubborn and lack of muscle. Is it that I am being impatient or lack of protein?

TOo much emphasis on the dumbbell side dogs know it.
I started with polarized emphasis on tendons and ligaments. functional training hits those great, target too tdk (they don't know, tdk) that part.
