My tip that I normaly tell my klients is, for all kind of excercises, to bring your belly button to your spine. This will totally activate core and helps you so much to get the bent over row successfully done! And absolutely important, too, is exhale when pull back and inhale going down. So by controlling respiration you do it in a perfect flow, you won't work too hasty and stay healthy.

You'd mentioned that there is different muscle recruitment when opting for a barbell rather than dumbbells; what are the differences?
Thanks for a great video; I've been struggling with bent over rows for several months and I think your -wide chest- cue is going to do the trick! I tried it just now with body weight and could TOTALLY feel my back engaging, thanks! :)

Hi cory, I have seen some guys at my gym doing leg workouts without shoes, So I wanted to ask if its even safe and whats the idea behind doing it without shoes? I remember there are special shoes for leg exercises

mistake #6 people don't bend over far enough. I see some practical standing. it's like they're afraid to bend over. Or way too heavy to bend over properlly.
