53 year old absolute beginner here!
been doing yoga for over a year now, and some heavy rope and rows at the gym. but calisthenics started to get in my thoughts more and more, and 2 days ago i ordered my portable chin up thing-a-ma-doodle and gymnastic rings.
did my first sets of spiderman push-ups yesterday (thankyou core yoga workouts for making them easier, and i am so looking forward to waking up each day and stretching out all these extra muscles i'll be using and developing over the coming months.
i have patience, i have resolve and determination. and thankyou chris for posting these videos which will be invaluable for my growth and learning.
best wishes to all from australia.

Great that Chris has provided progressions! Chris, I'd love to know if you do myofascial therapy (like using a foam roller at home. It would be great to see all the different forms of post workout -treatments- you may do. I do remember in one of your videos you commented that you get cupping done. Take care!

I do this every morning since Summer and I just found myself be able to hold handstands without total exhaustion in my arms! Next step is balance and body position. Thanks Chris for a perfect morning warm up routine! I hope one day be able to master L-sit too!
