Depending on the person and what type of muscle you want to have, Bodybuilding and Calisthenics are both incredibly good.
While body building focuses solely on strength, Calisthenics focuses more on your body movements. You will have more body control on calisthenics, which will allow you to do more athletic stuff. While Body building will literally build you like a tank and will help you carry things more than 5x your own weight.

Ayee, two beasts in one video! Killer content, helpful on many levels. I really am planning to start with calisthenics. Already started doing some push ups & pull ups, so these kinda videos are always motivating. And also I've been watching Chris's videos since long time and recently started watching Jesse's videos too, so letssss go! Always the best time being here, cheers!

I hope you converted this guy to calisthenics. I think it gives a much more natural body look, and you obviously just proved that it is also a form of strength training that is more comprehensive. Ps. Do body builders enjoy getting stretch marks or do they just not care?
