If you want to grow bigger calves you need to be nailing these three things: Firstly, understand that in order to grow you a muscle, you simply have to train it. That-s first and foremost. Pay your calves the attention they so willingly deserve. Secondly, tempo, tempo, tempo. It-s everything when it comes to calf training. Bouncing up and down on the seated calf raise will do you no good. All that-s being worked is your ego and your ankle flexion. Instead, slow everything down! Last, but not least, frequency! It-s a common misconception for people to train their calves every single day. If you-re actually training them hard, it-s not plausible. I-d recommend 2-3x per week of proper calf training. Incorporating a combination of low heavy reps, and high lighter reps. Variance is key. Most importantly - don-t use a weight you can-t handle. Drop your ego at the door and focus in on HOW you-re lifting the weight, rather than HOW much! Bonus tip: get made at your parents for not blessing you with better calf genetics 3 x $150 Giftcards GYMSHARK GIVEAWAY ENTRY: Comment below answering these 2 things: Why you want to win the giveaway? I-ve grown prob 1. 5 inches easily in the past 6 months. I literallly do them 5 days a week HARD. Don-t do raises too much on your toes like this gentleman with gifted calves. Your toes can-t handle the weight like the ball of the foot.
Gotta stretch it deeeeeeep and pull out of it w straight legs (ideal) and a little bent knee raises help the mid calve.
I played professional baseball so I have some awareness in my body in terms of soreness and overworking the muscle.
Check out Tom Platts The Godfather of calves.
This info above isn-t accurate

You're the guy I'm going to follow from now on. You have the physique that I want and the legs I have always wanted to have. My legs are not terrible but I want them to be bigger. I have already followed your arm workout and it was awesome. Can't get all the ay through it yet only about 11 minutes but I'll get there. You are really inspirational.

I want calves like him, the before picture was better than mine already, I think it just might have to be genetics and I just have calves that are super small and not very liney, even if I do calf raises a lot every day

I want to swap. My calves are insane, and I didn't ask for it at all. I just want smaller legs, being genetically blessed with muscle gain is only fun while living the gym life. I quit two years ago.

Do you think it's possible to get your calves to grow if you have muscle problem like wasting and a form of blood cancer if you train as hard as you can do you think they'll grow?

How bout the food? I-m eating high protein diet now like maybe around 150g protein per day- i stop eating alot of carbs especially rice. Will my calves grow?

I'm wondering if calves actually need more time to recover than any other muscle, I mean we work them hard in the gym then they are forced to move us around all day.
