How to Fix TIGHT Hamstrings (HINT - It's NOT stretching) Redefining Strength
video description
-The Hips ( weak on one side and tight on the other side of hips ) which is called The Trendelenburg Gait ( walking like a penguin ) and you NEVER want this-
-My neck is unlined from sitting at a computer ( working )- -It can mess with your back/posture- -Knees, Ankles, and Feet, everything is linked together-
-There's NO warning, speaking for myself, I end up waking up from it-
-It's very frustrating and all you think about, how much you want to be able to walk straight, and go back to normal- -I didn't know this stuff exists, well now I do-

Your videos are some of the most informative and well put together. I-ve been using a lot of your videos to improve many of my training routines including my kettlebell training. This video really helps with some of the pains that I feel, I-m getting older so it-s important for me to find more effective training routine and techniques to help prevent injuries and improve my training regime. Do you have any videos on shoulder health, I have issues with my shoulders from years of wear, anything you have will help. Thank you, keep providing the videos they are extremely informative.

Ty for sharing! Always precise and fast in explanation, love that about you and your video concept. There's just one more thing I need to say, I adore your leggings. -- Srry, but anytime I'm listening (yeah, not only watching) to you, your leggings and training shoes - possess me -- like I'm under a spell. Just wanted to say, great outfit. Cheers to you (figuratively speaking!

Hey Cori, I feel my hamstrings activate when I try many of these, like the glute bridges and its variants. How much hamstring activation is OK when doing these? I'm trying to make my glutes do all the work but its not easy. Maybe my form is bad, or my hamstrings are so tight that it's hard to not activate them.

Honestly doing glute bridges makes me want to give up because I'm not activating my glutes. Whilst I agree with everything you said in the video, you didn't really talk about what you should do when you run into these problems, you just said -make sure the problem doesn't happen-

It makes total sense. I have had three back surgeries and on-going lower back issues. Most times in therapy I am always told how tight my hamstring and hips are and looking back they most always have me bridge and work my glutes now I see why. Your video put it in perspective

Very informative, but how do you know what method you need?
I've had tight hammies forever and calves too. I do work sitting down. My massage guy has helped massage/stretch my hip flexors, so in my mind I need both.

Do not do 3: 27 once you had a L5/S1 disc hernation. Less dangerous than hyper extension, but still dangerous enough to have another herniation as L5/S1 segment is the rotation axis for that movement.
