Al-Ula is a unique region of Saudi Arabia that was hidden from tourists until September 2019. Now the whole world has the opportunity to discover ancient places, which are more 6000 years old. In this episode: - Ancient tombs of Mada-in Salih ( Hegra, - Remains of Al-Hijr - Biggest mirrored building in the world - Maraya concert-hall - (unexpectedly) performance by Craig David and Lionel Ricchi Brent: Many thanks, Anton! That is a totally unexpected view of the ancient Middle East in the 21st century. Fine dining and astonishing architecture in the middle of an abandoned desert landscape. Rocks and hills shaped into lifelike forms by winds and by time as if by purposeful hands. Many surprises!

I usually know just negative stuff about Saudi Arabia. Id love to actually meet some Saudis and maybe see their point of view. Like for instance is it safe for a jewish woman to visit? is it safe to debate certain subjects? Would they work with/hire women?
ps: the land looks gorgeous

It is intellectual dishonesty when you dont tell the history of Madain Saleh that is associated with things mentioned about in muslim sacred scripture. And that the prophet muhammad told things about it and visited the place.

This seems like a place only the wealthy can afford to go and didn-t the prophet say it was cursed and that-s why it was forgotten!
