I've been on YouTube for about six months now. Learning how to make a trip report has been trial and error for me. But I just got a crash course from the world's leading expert. Here's what happened: As I was getting ready to board Emirates flight 184 from Brussels to Dubai to film a trip report about the new Emirates Business Class cabin, I noticed a familiar face: Sam Chui. Sam Chui had the same idea I did. Cover the new First Class and new Business Class cabins. By pure luck, we decided to fly on the same day. With more than 90, 000, 000 views and well-over 350, 000 subscribers, Sam Chui knows a thing or two about how to make a trip report here on YouTube. I was looking forward to spending some time with him and learn about his approach to making trip reports. After saying hello, Sam Chui and I decided to sit down for an interview. It was tough to find the time because he spent most of his time out of his seat, filming the flight! Join me as I learn more about how Sam Chui came to YouTube, what he's learned from the experience, how to make a trip report, and how it's helped him grow as a person. Hi Jeb! Thanks for making me a follower of your aviation vlogs. It was this particular vlog that I discovered Sam Chui. Thanks for that by the way! Lol! As I mentioned to him in the comments section, correct me if I'm wrong, but have either of you flown Hawaiian Airlines domestically or internationally? They already got rid of all their Boeing 767 fleet. So now they're using Airbus A330s and A321 NEOs. I've also heard that they have 2 lounges in Honolulu but thee international lounge is thee only one that's worth visiting. I also heard that they've got done Boeing 787 Dreamliners on order as well. Just thought I'd throw in a suggestion if you haven't flown them already. Also I'd like to say thanks! For opening my eyes to the world, through the world of aviation.

That was a great interview I think would be great fun is for you to do a review togetheryou know as two friends flying someplace and giving a trip report and how it is flying together or how difficult it is like you said having to lean forward in the chairthings like that are good to know about if you're flying as husband and wife were best friends what-have-you you know you're flying someplace for 12-14 hours or more and if you can have a decent conversation without falling over to speak to someonethat's an issue that would love to hear about especially some of the airlines that you both really like.

I follow 3 people for trip reports. eddie khoo, sam chui, and jeff brooks. i do remember seeing you in Sam's video.
I always watch videos of either atleast once a day, surprisingly helps me to calm down when i am stressed out or something, and the videos shown are the nearest i will be in business or first class.
So i would like to give a big thank you, your videos have been a source of information, a getaway from stress.

you two are what I watch all the time. every time I watch you both, I just wonder oh that's first and business class is like hehe as I always travel in the very back of the airplanes and I usually falls asleep 5 minutes after airborne. but once I'm in the hotel and have nothing else to do, I watch you guys. yeah I'm too stingy for my own self to book business or even a first-class. keep making the video ok!

7: 24 the interview was very quite good. I do suggest more of these interviews; but the only part that disappointed me a little is when Sam Chui passed this comment at 4: 20 in the video. Sam Chui, I suggest you dont do this anymore to the cabin crew please. If you want to have normal conversations with them you certainly can, but please, NO complementing then like this, ok?

This video actually puts Sam at a much better light for me. It helps me understand the language issue. Well done both of you.
Jeb, your training skills show through as a professional. Sam has never stood in front of >300 people expecting something. I am guessing you have.
Also he knows himself.

From Sam's video, it looked like you were initially in another seat a few rows back - did you switch seats with someone so you could sit next to one another?
