In this United Airlines 787 Polaris Business Class Review, we'll take a look at the SWISS Business Class lounge in Zurich, the seats, amenities, food, crew, and inflight entertainment. United Airlines' Polaris Business Class is a comfortable way to fly. Watch this United 787 Polaris Business Class Review to see what it's like on the United Airlines 787. In this short Boeing 787 Review, you'll see what it was like to fly between Zurich and Washington, DC's Dulles International Airport. You'll even see exactly how the 787 Dreamliner windows work. These special electric windows are unique to the 787 Dreamliner, too! This United Airlines 787 Polaris Business Class Review isn't my only one! Also, here's a link to my United Airlines TransconThrowdown Episode

United along with ALL the US airlines have the worse uncultured staff, the food is filled with chemicals, the prices are higher than Emirates and Lufthansa, and so on. Ohhh wait the inside of the planes have the ugliest ambience. sorry I'm just used to flying Qatar, Emirates, Lufthansa, Quantas, and so on. Again the US staff is a bunch of angry ladies and not worth me spending on unless I have to fly domestic or their price is so low in business that I don't mind saving $4, 000 or so. My experience is based on Business class where I spend $8, 000 or more on tickets out of my pocket, not on upgrades! for having the worlds biggest economies we have the lowest class of airliners in the world with old planes, no new 747, no A380 and barely any 787's. Shame on us!

Hey! I know you normally do business class reviews, and frankly I would enjoy reviewing in business class seats myself, yet, not everyone has the money for those kind of seats. It would be great if I could see what the flights are like in seats that I could actually afford. I would really enjoy some reviews of premium economy class and economy class seats of different airlines around the world! In the end though, what ticket you want is up to you, I'm just saying that there is probably a neice of people like me who would really appreciate an in-depth review and maybe even comparisons of different economy and premium economy accommodations. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Have an amazing day.

Jeb, you are a class act! Looks like Uniteds First Class has gone down just a bit. I flew it multiple times from 2002-2010 (for home visits) SEA-LEX, SEA-CVG, as well as several vacation destinations, when my then partner had full flight benefits. It was a bit surprising that First service stopped at 2, with you in 3, and your service came from behind. I certainly hope they were as attentive as the forward crew; your service should have equaled theirs since you were in First. Again, another excellent trip report; thank you, Jeb!

The 787 is the benchmark by which future airliners will be compared against. The higher pressure in the cabin due to it's composite construction (about equal to 6000 ft altitude) lowers jet-lag symptoms. I love flying on 787s. Since I live in Denver and pretty much have to fly United I love the new Polaris Class planes. Some domestic flights even now have Polaris class. We recently flew to Newark on an old 757 but it had Polaris Class so it was a quite comfortable flight.

Jeb, Certainly the food, blankets, windows contribute to the overall experience, but would you generally agree that the seat of long flights are the main feature? You shared more about the desert and hole in the blanket than the seat. You have a light hearted, easy going and articulate delivery. but I want to know more about the seats, how is it to climb over your neighbor if you have the window seat, is the seat lie flat, etc? Thank you.
reply

Again, what about the window seats on this configuation. you have to step over someone when sleeping. I have been looking at these reviews and I don't come on here to see the scenery, but to get and idea of the seat space, privacy and convenince. and not to look at meal after meal. I have found only 1 or 2 videos out of dozens that know how to handle the camera and footage to give you a good idea of what you are really wanting to see.

The connector was an old style SVGA connector. Some laptops still have this connector. It is used to stream your own content from your laptop to the IFE screen. As for the Airline, I won't fly any America based airlines as the foreign based airlines totally surpass ANY American based airlines with service and attention to details. American based airlines just fall so short. sorry!

Great Video Jeb. I'm very impressed with United's Polaris service. I'm usually a Delta flier and really like Delta One but the Polaris service seems fantastic. I'll have to try United Polaris to Europe soon. The trip to Kenya was great. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy all of your videos.

Later in the year, United will be taking delivery of a few 787-10 dreamliners with their brand new Polaris seats, I have had the pleasure of flying their new 777-300er from SFO - FRA in their new Polaris product and would highly recommend it. Definitely worth a try!

Once again a great video Jeb. I love the outside views from the lounge. In addition I love the European Jet-bridges and all the windows however, this type of jet-bridges would not do well in the states during the hot climates as they are so hard to keep cool.

As I understand it, each of the cabin crew only look after 2 rows of seats - eg some are dedicated to rows 1&2, yours would have been dedicated to rows 3&4 even though they are separated by the galley/doors, and another would do rows 5&6

United had been offering domestic premium on the 787 between IAD or EWR and DEN last year for just a few hundred bucks, but I kept postponing! Anyway, really curious if it's worth lying flat for just a couple of hours: )

I liked the video and narration! I have always thought about doing a trip report when Im flying an airline that has a nice product, but am usually too lazy/tired, so I do appreciate that you made the effort.

Jeb, another great video. When your frown we know it's about the headphones, lol. The hole in the blanket, um, time to replace it. That was a large seat belt. Food looked great. :)

The only airlines Ive flown on were United, Delta and American. I honestly love Uniteds performance. Also my mom is a flight attendant there and so we get free flights in any seat
reply

your videos are great Jeb. but PLEASE make them longer and plllllease dont fast forward the takeoff roll, aviation geeks want to hear the sound of the engines of takeoff, thanks
reply

What about the conveniend of the configuration. If you want to sleep without being disturbed or having to step over someone it is obvious you cannot get a seat by the window
reply

Great video Jeb. I like United Airlines. However it's been 16 years since I flew with them - GRU-ORD-BOS-ORD-GRU - the cabin crew was fantastic! Thanks for sharing!

Polaris is a joke. How are they competitive with AA and DL! Slick video like always!
Id appreciate any feedback you have for my videos Jeb. Thanks!

Loving this mini-series Jeb. BTW, I think Zurich has to go on the must see list, though I'd probably never leave the airport with that outdoor lounge! LOL.

Nice review! United seems nice, although hopefully your flight wasnt overbooked I still prefer the new Delta One cabin over United Polaris though

4: 17 that seems to be an S-video input. Oddly it is on several modern aircraft cabins, it's meant to be a display input for your laptop

I flew Americans 787-8 DFW-ANC, it was during daylight and it seemed like it was night or late evening until we came into land at Anchorage

He has such a soothing voice & seems like the most polite man ever. He should quit his job & read audio books.

It doesn't look like you need to lose any weight like you said. You always look really fit in all of your videos.

3: 38 that looks like a American airline 767 or 777. Also amazing video I wounded what it was like on a united 787
reply

Bedding with holes in it, typical United, They are cheap with their employees as well as the products they offer.
reply

For a second I thought it said 737 and all I saw were those engines and all I though was what maniac
