Ill never forget my only delay,
I was one the first few in economy so id been sitting some time, after the last passenger we sat with no anouncments, safty procedures anything for 30 mineuts before the captain said we're having difficulty clearing out a lavatory, please remain seated, refrain from using any lavatory as we'll be off asap.
We waited another hour or more left but becuase i was too late for my connection and too late for a hotel,
I ended up staying the night in the 2nd airport, calling my boss to tell my situation the next morning and waiting for the last flight home.

I have taken flight 200 six times to Johannesburg. Very much looking forward to flying the refurbished 777 this June on that trip. As noted in this video the seats were tired and the entertainment screens were small prior to the refurbishment. The new set up should be excellent. I have always experienced very good service on flight 200 and 201 from The Delta cabin crews. Food has been good and plentiful.

Not so much a delay but rather what it resulted in I enjoyed. I was flying from nice France to new York on Norwegian initially with an overnight stopover in Stockholm. However, our initial flight to Stockholm was delayed and then cancelled causing us to be rerouted to have a day and a half in Oslo before going on to JFK. I had a great time in Oslo and Norway is one of my favourite countries to visit.

We also did the Atlanta to Jo-burg run (a looooong trip indeed, and had the old interior and I agree they kept this configuration in service for a bit too long. We're going to get to try out the new Delta One configuration shortly when we travel to Australia. I like your reviews because they're pretty darn accurate, especially when compared to my like experiences.

Wow, what a wonderful exciting convenience, too be able to fly non-stop between Johannesburg, South Africa and the United States. I will be ready to go in the by September of 2026. While being able to experience what life is like on the other side of the world. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your day.

Imagine if you were that person who couldnt make it. Would you want your bag to make it to South Africa and not you? Waiting isnt always that bad if you put yourself in the other persons shoes. I understand wanting to get on your way but Im glad that person got their bag back

My delay was IcelandAir (Who I think you need to check out, the service was incredible) Berlin to Reykjavik. Lufthansa had the same gate and their boarding was delayed so IcelandAir's (Full) plane was stuck on the ramp for almost an hour. Then everyone had to deplane.

Good report! thanks. I'm considering this flight next summer to begin a Botswana trip. Details of the current flight state New Interior so I hope that means the changes you mentioned have been completed.

I was once delayed about 5 hours in the terminal on a very short flight between buffalo, NY and JFK. It was right after a college orientation, and I met a lot of people from my school that I connected closely with as we were all delayed together. Good times!

I truly appreciated the 777 I got to fly on them between 2007 and 2010 4 to 6 times a year in 15. 5 to 16. 5 hours straight! The planes where built in 2003-2005. It was a much better experience than your flight here. I flew all separate classes!

Looks like Air Canadas old businesses class which is only found on some A330s and 767s which the 767s are in the process of being retired and the one on the A330s are being fazed out for a newer style seat like the ones found on the 777 and 787

Love your videos, Jeb! Atlanta is one of my fav airports! Lived up there for 17 years! Now I love my flights from Tampa to Key West to relax. You should do a short hop on Silver Airways. The view and the plane are great, flying at, 15000!

Sad to say that now in 2021 you can not depend on Delta to not cancel flights. I booked this flight again fir my trip to Africa, renumbered to flight 204, and with 45 days to departure. you guessed it. Delta cancelled the flight.

If someone was late for their flight, regardless of the situation, the plane should leave on time. That persons inconvenience of being without their bag is considerably less than the impact for 400ish passengers being delayed.

Ive never had anyone complain about the temperature of silverware, nor would I think Id ever. Catering puts trays in carts and planes have chillers for them. Id rather cold silverware than room temperature food.
