Hello a few weeks ago I flew on their New 777-300er from Cape Town to Moscow via Dubai. I was so excited cause they were advertising that new product you saw in the video then when it was time to board I got on board and was quite disappointed there were no mini bars or foot rests or and the cabin was very old and the Ferrari lether was just normal lather also I am a child and in 10 and they gave me plastic cutlery? As I looked out of my window I saw a Qatar plane and I thought Qatar was much cheaper why shouldn't I just fly them The next day we landed in Dubai and I got on the a 380 to Moscow on the A380 the seats were much more efficient and there were many bars and there was a wonderful foot rest and much more storage and privacy then on our way back from Moscow to we already had a 6 hour layover in Moscow then I'll Emirates plane got delayed an extra 6 hours I saw so many Qatar planes land and leave I do respect that Emirates wanted to make this change and I still think that it is an amazing business class and I am very appreciative that I got to fly in it but I just think that the old was miss class is much better than the new one and I'm not saying that the Emirates crew or pilots are bad they're very nice it's just the product that they advertise is not the actual one that you'll get I think the only way you can get the advertised product was on the Dubai to Brussels flight and again Emirates is a very good Airline and I do respect that they wanted to make a new business class and the crew and pilots are amazing

Previously you didn't have to fit your feet into the side small cubicle, now they have introduced this feature which is the worst feature of most if not all of the 1 2 1 configured seats while not giving any of the benefits of the 1 2 1 configured seat! The lumbar support on both sides of the seat make the sleep very uncomfortable especially if you sleep on your side as the raised surface press against the side of your body and hands. No amount of bling (or reduction of that) and leather can hide the fact that this is one of the worst business class seats amongst the top airlines in the world. Extremely disappointed with Emirates - they should have taken this opportunity to catch up or even surpass its competitors and not remaining at 2 or some may even say 3 generations behind its major competitors.

When you did once fly Emirates A380 (in 1-2-1 configuration, you will never accept the 777 anymore (e. g. in 2-2-2 configuration - for me close to prime economy. The difference is really like first class to business class. A380 business class is close to having your own cabine, excellent privacy and space. The entertainment is mostly the same, I did not see differences.
Since 3 years I only fly business class and I once had a 777 and also a 787 (Etihad. Since that I strictly check to only book A380, even if flight times are not perfect. Btw. : Etihad A380 configuration is similar to Emirates configuration. But Emirates service is much better. So I see no option to Emirates A380.

The old one consisted of a 1-2-1 seating configuration and the new one is a 2-3-2 configuration. But on the other hand, the new one looks better and makes it feel much more luxurious and it is very nice and I think the new one is better. Hope this helps out anyone who will be considering flying on Emirates Business Class in the future. (If you are doing a stopover flight, make sure to book an A-380 flight and also a B-777-300 ER flight so you can experience both!

Well they had to do something to keep the 777 interesting. Looks alright. Although the 2-3-2 doesn't offer much in privacy. But Emirates matches that with their service that it hardly will feel awful. Gosh, we first/Biz class fliers can be really whiney lol. I mean for the price we can be, but maybe we should be more thankful to be in a position to fly first/business. I salute folks who get through planes in Economy (which actually is pretty great on Emirates) with kids or old family members. It isn't easy.

I fly often with Emirates from my country to Dubai and south east asia in J class and i love this airline and FA. in A 380! but, even if the design of the seats is nice on the new 777, the 2-3-2 configuration is ridiculous and customers deserve better, when Quatar released the Q suites and other companies use 1-2-1 lay out.

The new 777 business class is 100% better than the old one, whenever possible I always chose their A380. A little too mich wood and gold for European tast but bearable. They give out amentiy kits on the night sectors, so if you took the late flight from London you would get one. I read they are switchintg to a 2-2-2 configeration

I dont get why some reviewers dont complain too much about Emirates having a bad business class configurations on their aircraft, I personally would never travel on business class that has 2-3-2 configuration, high paying customers deserve so much better than this. But overall thank you for the video jeb

Actually you will get a amenity kit on the flight from Europe to Dubai or vice-versa. I collected 4 amenity kits on return flight from Prague to Bangkok. Have done this flight for the first time in 2018 and then several times afterwards.

7 across, that awful middle seat, no escape from climbing over or being climbed over no matter what seat you choose. Emirates, horrible, backward and inexplicable cabin layout. Meanwhile Qatars new business is Q-Suites. Easy choice for me.

The seats are a bit gaudy and tacky, and if a US carrier had come out with that configuration, everyone would be decrying the heinous act. But since its EK, well. its just amazing. Thumbs down.

I'm surprised the noise cancelling headphones are so poor. Were you surprised they didn't configure the seats better to give everyone aisle access? I'm looking forward to trying it out in five weeks!

Great report! And funny to see Sam next to you, what coincidence! Emirates does actually offer a full amenity kit between Europe and DXB but only on the overnight flights, not on the day flights

too much wood panels and gold on gold, it is a bid too much. but like the seats, but cannot see why they need to use use so much gold and 80ties wood panels styling.
