Well that was absolutely beautiful Jeb! Your camera work was outstanding thankyou. The colours of the sunset skies had me going from WOW to OMG! But I have to ask Suzanne how do you compare the barren Australian countryside to the more barren (although undoubtedly gorgeous) Peruvian countryside?
I only have one complaint Jeb. this video should have gone on for at least another 2-3 hours. Or maybe add some of your side trips or maybe you do and I dont know where to find them? Fantastic trip though, best so far. and I have only just found your folder at the bottom showing ALL of your train trips. I have been scrolling through all of your videos trying to find each one aarrgghhh. cheers from WA (Oz)
That was so good I had to watch it twice. shame I cant tick 'like' twice too; )

It looks lovely. But the website is listing about 7 grand for two adults. Just imagine how far that much money could take you in Peru. You'd want for nothing for weeks.
It's tragic that these train journeys have to be priced essentially for wealthy retirees looking for a way to spend their money. take away some of the bells and whistles that most travelers could do without and it could certainly be sustainable at a much lower price. But like real estate, it's hard to bemoan someone charging outrageous amounts of money if they keep finding people willing to pay it.

Oh mio Dio, no tango la menor idea! This train is gorgeous. Muy linda! Che bellisima. This is absolutely on my bucket list. Oh the earth is so big and beautiful.
Do yourself a favor, stop believing the news! We the people want to be friends very few among us are truly racist. A small portion on top benefits from our fears and they play upon them grow them, pay to advertise them to us, everything from hate to ill health. We need to stop buying into their stories.

Thank you!
Brings to mind while on the island hawaii after a weerk of diving off Kona and in some lava tubes we decided to drive up to the observatories to go sled riding in hawaii sfter s week st 60 ft underwater, we decide to go up to 14000 ft and I'm embrassing my ex by banging on the door trying to get some oxygen not one of my better moments. But that train ride is the stuff dreams are made from.

I went on the cog railroad up Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs and that's 14, 700 feet above sea level (coming from Long Island, NY at sea level) and I was sick! I couldn't breathe I had a panic attack and I wish there was oxygen up there! I was so upset I got a refund from the cog railroad! They should've had warning signs!

I have some questions if you don't mind: What time of the year did you go? Once the travel in train is finished, how do you come back to where you started? Is there an heater or air conditioner in the cabins? Hair dryer are available in the bathroom or you have to bring yours? Drinks at the bar are free and unlimited?

Amtrack is not nice! Its a nightmare! Proof that they can proved. But honestly. its probably our ridiculous regulations and liabilities that prevent them from doing it like this. Plus everything being expensive in the U. S.

I was thrilled when you got upgraded. It is fun to see that suite without having to pay for it. Loved the piano room and the open air viewing car at the back of the train with its lovely grillwork.

Thank you for a stunning video. However jeans are not smart casual and wearing your cap at dinner, or any other meal, is just not acceptable.
