The windows on the Dream liners are built in Zeeland Michigan by the Gentex Company. I worked in the area where they were made. It is an extremely intense process and in order to work there you need month of training. Many complaints are heard and they work to address them if possible. We heard many complaints about how the airline attendants lock passenger access.

So Dulles to Amman is about ten hours. But I see a video on the list to the right which says an emiraes First Class A380 - 25 Hours Cairo to New York. How does it take 15 hours longer to get from Cairo to New York than this flight from Dulles to Amman? Looking at a Globe it doesn't seem like that's accurate.

I'm undecided on my opinion on the new 787 windows. I haven't gotten in many 787s to have a thorough experience of different flying times.

You guys got upgraded to a 78X! All those people that got bumped up didn't forget this trip for sure. I fuel UA at another of their hubs and I love to watch these flight reviews. Im glad it turned out well and as long as UA can serve the flying public, I can also put food on my table. I love my job.

Be careful in Amman. I hear the airport security like to try claiming things to get your expensive things free. I personally haven't had issues however. They're however really bad in the baggage services. Frequent delays and damage with that. I prefer traditional window shades

Jeb Brooks. United Airlines is expected to commence a direct flight from San Francisco to Bengaluru on Oct. 28, 2022. My strong recommendation is to spend a few hours on that inaugural journey (just like you did here. :)

I got to ride on a Dreamliner last year from Chicago to SFO and the flight attendants blacked out the windows for sunset. the windows on that plane went truly black where I could only see the sun as the faintest purple disk.

I've also flown on the dreamliner with united It was a flight that my dad and my younger brother took a flight from Los Angeles to Chicago And I gotta say t it's a really cool plane I hope I get to have that experience again soon

I flew on a United Dreamliner from lax to Tokyo back in like 2013. Back when the planes were brand new those windows were awesome and futuristic, but now theyve really dulled quite a bit. They must degrade because of UV light.

Great to see the world opening up! I also don't really see the need for doors. I prefer that the flight attendants can see that my glass is getting low so that it can be filled. And boo electronic widow shades!

I've flown on some 787flights and daylight has been completely blacked out, to a point where I was convinced it was night time. I think cabin crew control how dark they go when passengers operate them.

I agree with the statement about the 787 windows. When I flew on one, with windows did not go fully dark and it had a weird purple tint to it. On the other hand I like the big windows a lot.
