hello everyone, I need some advice: every time I take business class, I never have time to enjoy the business-lounge, because the airlines do everything they can to make sure check-in takes place very shortly before boarding. Even if you arrive two hours before a flight, it's always like that. As a result, once you've gone through check-in, there's only 30 minutes left before boarding, so it's impossible to take advantage of the business lounge at the airport, or to take the time to order anything. I'm sure the airlines do this on purpose to save money, but does anyone have a solution for really having time to stay in the business class lounge

Very informative video. It’s definitely not worth $15, 000 at all. I don’t think I would even spend my miles on it. Really, I would only fly American to one of their hub cities, Phoenix is the one I most commonly fly to, and I wouldn’t fly them for an international flight. You’re right about the Wi-Fi, it’s always slow. Delta’s is generally faster, though surprisingly I’ve found that Southwest has some pretty good Wi-Fi. I guess I’ll save my miles for a transcontinental first class flight, like LAX to JFK.

When I’m lucky enough to be riding up front I have noticed that most of the window seats are not that close to the actual window. This is particularly true during takeoff and landing when the seat has to be upright and all the way back. Are all widebody business and first class seats like this Maybe when you are reviewing the seat you could mention how accessible the window is for outside viewing and filming. Thanks.

I love your videos! It's so fascinating seeing different airlines and airports, and you and Susan are such a delight to watch!
Have you ever considered looking at airline museums and doing videos on past and current airlines There's a Northwest Airlines museum in Bloomington, MN (not far from MSP) that has a comprehensive history of the airline up to the Delta merger!

I love the seat and the desk feature very unique. I do believe that Flagship First should have Wifi included especially at 15, 000 a ticket. Also you can really tell the age of the seat with that screen but it seems you do get all the true amenities of a first class and I hope that AA keeps the same level with their next first class. I’d call it Flagship Firstish

Grade inflation ongoing. If that’s 20/25, then presumably there is no major carrier offering a 19/25 international first class product, much less a 15/25. A grand total of 5 stars should be awarded to the worst known performer, and then the ratings should be scaled up from there. That way, your ratings are both useful and meaningful.

What dedication by the flight crew to get that seat working, or at least in a flat position. This just happened to me on ITA - FCO to BOS. My flight attendants didn’t try at all when my seat didn’t work, but they did move me to a working seat, but if they hadn’t I would have been heartbroken and fighting hard for a full refund.

I'm sure you've heard this before but I'll post anyway, it pains me to see you and Suzanne walk through the airport with your bags on your back instead of using rolling baggage.
My favorite airport to do plane spotting is LAX, but I'm a bit biased since that is the airport I usually fly out of for Pacific international flights.

Always good to see another upload from you, Jeb!
I’m getting ready to head on my longest flight here in about a month. Flying with Air Canada from Vancouver to Brisbane, Australia.
And then on my return to America, flying with Qantas from Sydney all the way to Dallas
Except I’m gonna be in just regular economy.

What a coincidence. I am booking a flight from DFW -> LHR today. I was considering Flagship First but I decided on Flagship Business Plus because I like the privacy in Business compared to First. Also, with this ticket, you have access to Flagship First Dining Lounge at DFW and the Cathay First Class Lounge at LHR.

American I wouldn’t fly if they pay me even lol. And I refuse to fly anymore Boeing planes very scary planes nowadays and horrible company. The comment about putting lounges together in one big one also rather strange why You get overcrowded lounges with no distinctive design or and prominent airline feel.

I gave a thumbs up just for the leprechaun kick on the boarding ramp. Love your videos. Can't fly first class often. I've flown United Polaris Newark to Rome once. Will fly United Polaris again next year to Sydney. Until then I'll live vicariously through you both. Keep up the great videos.

Favorite planespotting airports:
JFK: Variety and volume
DCA: River Visual approach
LAX: West coast JFK
SFO: Races along the bay
ATL: Sheer volume.
LHR is one I’m visiting later in the year, so I’m hoping for the best.

Question for you Jeb: with the Boeing issues lately, would you fault someone for opting for a flight on Airbus My family was having this conversation when planning an upcoming trip and we agreed to skip Boeing for the time being.

First class and no caviar service Perhaps it's not that common on US carriers LH First on 747 is special but I think I enjoy QR A380 First the best: )
Plane spotting outdoor is hard to beat, Zurich is unbelievable good.

Hands down the best flight/travel reviewer. Even keeled, highly intelligent, smarter wife, and always a great edit with great sound quality. You should teach a course to some of these other travel humans.

As usual, you have produced another great video. I do agree with you that American Airlines is lacking in several areas. Especially, when they advertise it as Flagship First and Flagship Business.

The only real disappointment was charging for wifi access for a flight that costs 15k USD one way. At that price, it should be included or working. Other than that, it looks like a nice experience.

Really good review. Thanks for the video. Sad to see first class disappearing in many airlines. Anything classy has disappeared from the US flying experience. Nothing to aspire to when flying.
