Watch this video to see what it’s like on one of the world’s Strangest Flights onboard an Air France A320 from South America to North America through the Caribbean! Twice each week, Air France makes an Island Hopper flight that stops at several islands throughout the Pacific. The flight has become world famous because of its unique nature. This Air France Island Hopper flight ranks high on most #AvGeek bucket lists and in this video, we'll explore what it's like to fly on the Air France Island Hopper, along with the history, and unique nature of the flight. The Air France Island Hopper is unlike any other flight in the world and this video breaks it down so you can understand all of the unique quirks of it. Along the way, you’ll have to let us know what you think the world’s most unusual flight is! Of course, as always, we'll take a look at the seat, service, entertainment, food, and lounge, and give the whole thing a JebScore, but we'll also look deeper at the Air France Island Hopper as we travel onboard this special Air France A320 in Air France Business Class. 0: 00 Introduction 0: 49 Why Does This Flight Exist 3: 09 Boarding Air France Island Hopper 6: 40 Flight to Guadalupe 8: 17 Flight to Miami For more trip reports, please subscribe to my channel! I think a weird flight you should definitely try out is Allegiant Hagerstown Maryland to St Petersburg florida. Hagerstown is a very strange maryland airport with lots of history including airforce one landing there a couple times and is one of the only commercial airports in maryland besides BWI. It also only has Allegiant flights to Florida as the only commercial services

Although the OMRs are part of the EU (which you were in) the OCTs are not, but the freedom of movement for people with EU passports is not extended to the OMRs, so no automatic residency for us and an EU identity card is not sufficient - passport required.
Also these OMRs and OCTs mean that France is the country with the most time zones

I made the trip from Providence (RI) to FDF in Martinique on the Norwegian Airlines in 2018 I believe. Two random locations for a Nordic airlines. I don’t think that airlines runs a lot of routes in the US anymore. Great video! And The Omega AT World Timer is personal favorite of mine and I wore the heck out of it during my recent EU trip!

Craziest flight Westray to Papa Westray, takes around a minute, you can see your destination from your origin.
Or the shortest International Flight (13 miles) from Brazzaville (Congo Republic) to Kinshasa (The Democratic Republic of the Congo.

I’d love to see you guys take some of the longest domestic flights out there: LHR-BDA, CDG-RUN, BOS-HNL. Would be fascinating to see how the flights are treated compared to international flights!

Pity you didn't have time to break your journey for a few days in Guadeloupe. You could have visited the scenes where they shoot Death in Paradise and spoken Creole like in Louisiana and Mauritius.

I remember seeing an AirFrance A320 flying over the US for the first time on fr24, until France owned some small parts of land near the Caribbean. But keep up the great content this was a nice video

Booking out first flights to Tokyo and Paris for Disney trips. Wanting info on best planes and flights and cities. We’re open to leave from East or west coast. Wanting shortest routes

No stranger than domestic or regional flights between states in the US.
Air France servicing French territories.
US carriers servicing Alaska, Hawaii, Guam
No mystery there.

On a Delta flight recently and assumed there was no power - then looked in the arm rest where there was a USB - caught me by surprise also. Interesting video - thanks.

No meal on a 30 minute rlight! You guessed right. I used to connect all the time from Houston to Austin (30 minutes) and you're lucky to get a cup of orange juice.

Strangest flight has to be that flight between two small Scottish islands that takes less than 1 minute! (Westray to Papa Westray. I guess it’s faster than a boat.

Great video as always, Jeb! This is an interesting flight and reminds me of the Alaska Airlines milk run which you should do a video of one of these days.

Is this considered one of those 5th freedom flights Those are great ways to experience airlines without having to go all the way to their home airport.
