you're giving bad publicity to a multi-million dollar, and an isolated country so you can Maybe get a few extra pennies. not only is that dangerous, in the sense that your legs could end-up getting broken, or you family kidnapped, but it also shines a really bad light onto you because it shows that you have no means to comprehend the world that you're supposedly reviewing.
always disappointed in you. you never fall to disappoint in your smallness, she pettyness. you truly are an average person, giving it all their best to see what's beyond them, thinking the floor will close beneath their feet like gear doors, and he's going to be able to stay there. good luck with that, because it's not like television, and you need to be able to come-up with your own lines on the spot, not to a camera, but to security, and directors every single time. you just don't have the energy to get through a single day.

The F100 is a nice aircraft to travel on. I have had the privilege of flying on the Fokker at least once a week for the past 6 months to do baggage handling duties. The best part is being allowed to sit in the jump seat for the flight, which is a nice perk since I work for the airline. Although it is a fun experience to sit in the cockpit during flight, more padding on the jump seat would be appreciated. I prefer sitting in the first few rows only because it is quieter. I can get away with using my earphones without noise cancelling at the front, but at the rear it is a necessity.
Doing the push back on the Fokker is also an interesting experience. It is a little bit difficult since the view from the tug is limited, so it is hard to keep the aircraft on track. On smaller aircraft I use the tail to orient the aircraft correctly and judge when to turn and correct. In contrast, I have to use the rear landing gear to position the aircraft which takes some time to get accustomed to. I have only done it 3 times so far though.

We actually have the Fokker 100 service a very unusual route. It is a once a week flight from Brisbane to Weipa on Tuesdays and is an Alliance route that is right at the very limits of its range! Sometimes you get a free stopover in Cairns for coffee etc while the plane refuels on the northward leg. It's nice for me as when I was a kid it was the Fokker F27 that was our aircraft service to Weipa from Cairns through various airlines of the time Bush Pilots, Air Queensland, TAA, Ansett and Australian Airlines. Then we got upgraded to F70 and then our run of Fokkers disappeared as we went to BAE146 and now have QantasLink running the Q400s.

I'll be honest with you Mr. Phillips. You get to fly all over the world with people/patreons/advertisers paying for it. You should consider yourself so lucky to be visiting countries that most of us will never have the chance to do so. I've watched many of your videos. Many of the pitfalls that you have had happen are simply because of poor planning on your behalf. Most of us watching your videos would only love the chance to incur some of the difficulties that have fallen on you. We're all getting quite tired of your woh is me attitude while you travel around the world, basically for free. Just put yourself in our shoes for one flight.

I remember the first time I flew on one, I thought it was an MD-80 at first, but I noticed the wing fairings were different. The safety card said F100 so I thought it was a new variant of the MD-80 LOL. Never heard of Fokker before, and then later realized it was an entirely different manufacturer with a long history of building cool planes. Unfortunately I heard these were hangar queens and most of them were sold or retired in the US long before the end of their useful lives.

Have you ever flown on a 727-200? Of course you probably have, I just haven't found one of those videos yet. However, I remember when I was little watching a 727-200 taking off from the dominican republic and it was so loud, the ground and windows were rattling as this aircraft thundered out of the airport, it sounded so powerful but it used up nearly all the runway just to take off. It made a U turn and overflew the airport and you could hear the explosions of the sound in the sky as this thing flew over off into the distance.

Oh heavens, wherever I hear about the Fokker 100 I remember a MASSIVE crash here in Sao Paulo Brazil. It was a Fokker 100. I think since then TAM retired all Fokker planes from their fleet. Really cool to see you in one of those. But then again if you look up Congonhas airport, you will see it is surrounded by residential area. The entire thing is not cool. But awesome video as always!

While I'm not a fan of filming others just in the vicinity (like seat mates that probably aren't super keen about being in someone else's travel blog, I do love seeing people so happy to experience something objectively not important, and unironically so. Genuine enjoyment of something unusual like an uncommon plane model is lovely to find.

Was very fortunate to fly on board that exact aircraft (VH-FGB) from Brisbane to Newcastle a couple of years back - always a nice treat for the aviation enthusiast, and looks and sounds just as I remember. Love the flight reviews and experiences as always and can't wait to see more of the Aussie adventures!

Did they take off with no flaps? On approach/landing you clearly see 42? degrees of flaps. I actually looked it up before finishing this comment, and yes the Fokker t100 is one of a few planes that can take off with no flaps. Apparently provides better engine out performance if there's an issue after V1.

I cant believe I was on shift at check in when you were on this flight. So many familiar faces of colleagues in this video. While they are a novelty and a beautiful aircraft, they are a pain operationally

My memory is not the greatest, but I remember a ride on an F100, from Newark, NJ, to Pittsburgh, PA, about 40 years ago. It was a short ride, but a nice experience, with an instrument approach through low clouds and a smooth touchdown. The aircraft felt like a sports car among airliners.

Back in the mid-80s I regularly flew the Fokker 100 from Ft. Lauderdale to Jax, FL on the old Piedmont Airlines. I loved it! The plane was usually half-empty so it would get up and go like a pocket rocket. Miss those flights!

Used to love flying on the old KLM (or was it Martinair) f100s, and learned the dont sit in the last four rows' lesson the hard way.
Also, exciting to almost see my house at 9: 09! You were right overhead!

I remember flying on those from PRG to ZRH with Swiss/Helvetic not so long ago. I always took your place, that sound and view is just amazing. Oh, and F70's PRG-VIE and PRG-AMS were also a treat. Good old times!
