Logo on the food is because of Air Chefs in Johannesburg, they label the packets with an airline logo so as to ensure the correct meals land on each flight, as the airlines pay per meal based on ticket sales. Rolls of pre printed labels with an airline logo on are pretty cheap, especially as you only have a few airlines, and once you have the set of printing rollers done, it is easy to run off more rolls of labels cheap. Very likely the printer of that label still has a set of printing plates for old defunct airlines that used to fly into South Africa sitting on a shelf, just in case somebody buys the old airline name, and starts to fly into JIA again. Pre printed thermal transfer labels can come in for under 2c US each, in medium quantities, if you only want a single colour, and for a little more if you want a 4 colour print. Printer is moderately expensive, but very robust, and low cost to operate, you only are buying the dye sublimation ribbons it uses.

Sir. we have no money to refund. Also I am paid in leftover served food. and thats upgrade from sandwich a day as this is my father in law's business. this is not our plane, we put stickers with logo when we rent it. we rent it with barter of interior crew on wet flights of others. sir we ensure you will have a pleasant flight with us, soon I will do jugling and folklore dance for you. the seat reclines the most ever in economy - kick it like this, you see, and ask the passenger behind to move, the plane is half empty anyhow. Dear ladies and gentleman, your suitcases will be arriving at another flight, my brother fell asleep as he has final exams soon - wish him luck by clapping!

I have flown with TAAG a few times between Jo'burg, Luanda and Lisbon, and I must say that I have never had a bad experience. Their aircraft are beginning to show their age, but they are acquiring new ones, and their first A220 arrived last week. It's like a glorified bus service that gets you from A to B at a reasonable price. If you want luxury and obsequious crew, this is not the airline for you (at least for now.

This Noel is why you should always book via a licensed travel agent. Especially the weird and wonderful airlines! They manage the booking and the ticket via BSP (bank settlement process) and they have access to live inventory from basically every airline in the world. Sure, they may charge you a service fee, but you will be better off and how much is your time and phone bill worth

Bloody hell Noel! There’s no wonder you had that beer 3K invested for that ticketing palaver and you seemed so calm. Your medal is in the post! Deserved!
I do really like the livery of TAAG aeroplanes. Glad you’re having a break and understandably opted for Portugal for that break and not rainy Britain. As always, safe journeys and thanks for making your videos, love em

I flew TAAG once from Cape Town to Lisbon, worst mistake ever.
It was a total nightmare, the food no inflight entertainment, drunk people fighting and I can go on.
On the way back home they were on strike, fortunately I managed to get a flight to Cape Town on another airline the next day. Lesson learned, you don’t fly African airlines.

Noel, after watching many of your videos of airlines I wouldn't dare to fly, I have to say man, I'm happy you're doing this so I don't have to. I truly enjoy watching your discomfort while I eat my steak burrito dinner in the comfort of my own home. Thanks for taking one for the team, bro. You're the real MVP.

Have done the Johannesburg to luanda route many times and used to be on the oldest 747s left in the sky at the time, I believe they have retired them now.
I remember they once came around with the drinks trolley and just parked it in the aisle and left it there as self service.

And here I thought this was a G rated page, and the longue has naked (I would have said nekkid, but I didn't know if you knew that word) women on the walls! Hey, you got a P911 upgrade. Best I've ever gotten was from a Ford Edge to a Ford Mustang! That was a VERY sweet ride!

Noel. I have to say, yes, at my school on your birthday you did have the threat of getting your head flushed down the toilet. So you kept your mouth shut. And I did know several people who did get their heads flushed - to their credit they took it as a greta joke - hats off,

TAG Angola seemed very weird saying they had no money for a refund. Both of the 777s seem to have better days but hey ho you had a couple of hours of sleep in first class. Hopefully you do get the refund in the end but thank you Noel for another good video.

A refund from Taag As we say in America, faggetaboutit. But. spending 2 days in a brand new rented Porsche 911, never mind which trim level, would more than make up for the pitiful Taag experience. Car guy or not, I envy you for having that opportunity.

Fortunately, I had a much better experience with Air Tanzania and Kenya Airways. An issue came up that. Forced me to cancel my flights with the two of carriers. A week later, the full amounts were refunded to my credit card. That’s good service.

Angola Airlines is my country's company. Unfortunately, the company is owned by the Angolan state and there are lots of problems with management, planes, etc. It's unfortunate how corrupt my country is and full of idiots running an airline

By the way, it's pronounced nine eleven, like the WTC towers 911. If you say it out loud like that, the onboard voice recognition software might accidentally call emergency services or something. Then again, you are in Portugal, soooo.

The way you were talking at the beginning of the video, I was expecting the plane to turn out to be the world's last DC1 or something. But it actually was a surprise. Glad everything turned out okay and hope you get your refund.

I'm well into my second month waiting for Avianca to refund my premium economy tickets, same dog and pony show trying to use their website, I finally got a phone number and talked to a person who said she would look into it.

Cathay Pacific has a WA customer service that’s just smooth and easier than calling. Response was almost immediate when I had to change my return date. I much prefer the WA option when it works over a phone call.

When I went to school we would hit and kick the birthday kid, there was even a special birthday song to go along with it. Of course it was really hard and all in good fun.
Also, today is my birthday
