Sorry which aircraft did you fly on
Have been using Emirates for twelve years now and fly the Saigon to Birmingham and return route untill my last flight when I tried Heathrow. Well it was GBP 400 cheaper but not half as good as Birmingham apart from having to pay a quid to use the luggage trolleys. Even had an escort from the building to the limo to make sure I did not loan it to an incoming passenger. A pound for the really.
Have to check where there using the A350 from as I do love the A380, but the Saigon leg is aboard a B777 the seating of which gives me nightmares of coffins and I'm only 80 YO.

The lounge specifically for Emirates will open soon where the old Aspire lounge used to be near Gate 5. So as Menzies are their handling agent at EDI they use the BA Lounge for now. You have come into EDI at a time when so much is changing and being built etc. hopefully if youre back soon things will be more open and operational! Nice to have you at EDI though! i dont work FOH anymore so i wouldnt have had a chance to see you around. Hopefully one day!

Was in edinburgh airport a month ago - design is confusing as, particularly for UK internal flights. I ended up traversing the whole airport despite not needing passport control. Place could do with a scrub too.
PS I've been confused by it, but Shiraz is the grape variety also known as Syrah and is used in wine all over the world - except Iran! Think the grape is reputed to have come from there originally hence the name

Love ya face Noel the excitement was like me when I got on 1 of my favourite planes a 757 was a Jet2 757 (G-LSAJ) loved every minute sad 2 see them go, bought myself a die-cast model jet2 (G-LSAJ) love it, keep up the good work love ya vids said b4 friday night with Noel, love 2 ya family aswell, oh by the way where did u purchase the accessorie to attach ya mobile phone to the window.

I once accidentally ended up on an inaugural flight with flyby from Inverness to London City. They didn’t seem to want us passengers there, had us moved out of the way when they were celebrating at the start and made us sit on the plane while they all took photos for the press, since then I think I’d skip the inaugural thing, unless there was a personal invite.

I am from Portugal, where we have the famous PORT wine, which is my favorite!
I don't drink much BUT. The day Noel Philips surpasses Josh Cahill (119 k difference at the moment of writing this) I will open an expensive and old Port bottle celebrating the milestone: D

Noel - I assume some people are going to criticise you for breaking your own rule regarding accepting free flights, but the fact is you are honest and (unlike some) not trying to hide it so it doesn't affect your credibility at all. Just as long as you keep it real the rest of the time that's good enough for me.

For those plastic tags on the amenity kit I notice if you pull the tab itself towards you it breaks off quite easily versus forcing it with the zip. I might be wrong but I think it might be by design so it's difficult to open accidentally but when you want to open it it doesn't take much force when you pull it the right way.

I was going through Edinburgh airport right around the same time as you, shame I didn't run into you. Had no idea about the A350 being there and then I saw it being deiced just as I was queueing up to get on my plane. I was on a flight back to Dublin on the Ryanair plane you can actually see around 7: 10

I have been on the inaugural flight from Austrian Airlines back in the days to London City Airport. I only noticed when they handed out chocolate saying so on it. Otherwise there where no sign of it found anywhere during the flight. It was with a Fokker 100 plane back then

As an aviation enthusiast, I love the interior of the A350. However, I'm not a fan of the outside aesthetic. The wingflex is almost non existant, even on take off. making the wings look rigid and non graceful. Not like the A330 neo amd 787

Noel - Just wanted to let you know, your videos are by FAR the best compared to everyone else. Wow seeing what Emirates serves compared to United equivalent flight, United should be ashamed of themselves, how embarrassing.

Thank you Noel for this special inaugural flight. I was thinking whilst watching this must of been paid for because this would have been really expensive but like you and Dan said it was special on the beautiful A350.

Great stuff Noel by the way Chicken Balmoral is a family favourite for us here in Scotland and served with a pepper sauce even better. Great plane the A350 love the business class.
