Hey guys that was an amazing inspirational watch thanks for the confidence booster my partner and I have just started travel vlogging we have always traveled a lot but have never tried to capture it and share So we are still sorta learning we are on the cusp of giving up our jobs and going traveling for the year and vlogging it, slightly terrified but exited, weve done 5 or 6 trips through Europe so far this year. Still working on getting the videos out. I have a few questions i thought you might be able to give us advice on Do you guys use your own drone footage? or do you find some before you go and take it with you for edditing on the road? You r music always seems to be soooo good is it paid for or do you have access to an awesome free library, How many TB of external hd space would you recommend for a 6 month trip? Finally do you ever have any issues uploading video? do you have to spend a lot of time in wifi free zones? We shoot with most of the equipment you shoot with, will need to invest in a memo recorder and a water proof case for our cards We are off to Copenhagen next month loved your Nordic Food series. Also as we are Scottish thanks for choosing Scotland as your first video we really enjoyed it keep posting and inspiring Jaismley

LOVE this episode. I love photography and videography, and use the Sony systems. I use an a55 and a57 several lenses, but if I'm trying to pack small, I just take my a55 and 18-250. I also use my GoPro a TON for everything (usually with a monopod extender - uber fun, and my lil Sony rx100 mii, and littler Sony pocket camera. and lots of fun bits and accessories. (If you get a chance, please check out my GoPro Bahamas Vaca. it's way too long, so I'm working on making a shorter one, as well as mini-episodes from the different activities. As always - THANKS for all the inspiration boys

Hey guysLove the look of the F-Stop bags for traveling with but I'm torn between purchasing the Satori EXP and the Tilopa. I'm going to be traveling long term so I'll need to carry clothes and stuff too (I've check out your How To Pack Clothes video too. Excellent)Have you guys had any issue taking the Satori as a carry-on for international flights? I'll have a tripod attached to the bag too so I'm thinking the Tilopa might be a little better but I'll have less room inside for everything else I'll need apart from just the camera gear. Love your videos guys Cheers

I love the idea of naming the batteries I've been having trouble keeping straight which ones are charged, so I think I'll do that asap. I've made a few travel videos, but the quality is lacking a bit and I've improved a lot since I made those, and I've been wanting to do some more but I don't have the time or money right now. Once I have the money I'm gonna travel more, I'm within driving distance of a lot of really cool cities and areas, so I might start with short road trips. (Ottawa is next on my list, thanks to you guys)

Great video guys It's always neat to see what other gear people are using. I can't believe you sometimes shoot 100GB in a day Holy cow, I can't even fathom that haha I'm curious to know what kind of hard drives you are using and do you back up your footage to a cloud based storage system too? I shoot with the Nikon D5200 right now and love it mainly for the flip out screen as well, making my travel videos solo I always need it to see if I'm focused and in the shot. :) Happy travels

hey guys I love your videos and me and my wife are going on a year long trip. We like the f stops but noticed that the satori is no longer available and the suka that they have is taller. it's height is 27. what troubles have you had checking the satori in if any and tilopa. also we have 2 cannon 5d mark 3s and were wondering if there was any equipment updates that you like better. we are thinking of getting a sony for quick shoot and for one to have a flappable screen. thanks, jason

Hey guys, I'm late to the party but have a question regarding gear. more so about transporting it. I have a Kelty Coyote 80L that I use to travel/backpack with. Instead of buying a new bag I wanted to use the f-stop small shallow ICU insert to transport my camera gear. I don't have a lot of gear so I figured it would be sufficient and well protected within the ruck bag. Basically a Sony a330 DSLR with 1 lens and all my go pro accessories. Let me know what you guys think.

hello you gorgeous boys, your stuff is excellent - we thought you might join us on a wee journey next week if you felt like it. The camera work will be shoddy, the sound probably rough as hell - except for the excellent pitchy meow factor of CLEOCATRA - the feline passenger - but otherwise it might be a tiny bit more interesting than watching the #BrotherContestants sleep. Can't promise. #LA2NY in 5 days in a truck with a cat and 2000 vintage dresses

Yes I basically use the same equipment minus the mic. I have a similar LED light, the canon rebel t5i, canon s120 and gopro hero 3 Glad to know I'm doing something right: ) Now all I need is an f-stop backpack I'm a new YouTuber aspiring to do travel videos as well. I vlogged Buffer Fest if you'd like to check that out I also have a blog that I'm currently re-vamping (aubreyfite. com. Love y'alls videos

Nice tips, fellas. For current offerings I would definitely check out the Sony RX100 Mkiii to replace that CyberShot and a Mirrorless option to replace your DSLR, such as a Panasonic GH4 or Sony A7II. I shoot only still and almost exclusively Fuji X system gear but hey, they're not too great for video haha. Keep it up Oh, the Ricoh GR is super tiny if anyone likes the 28mm FOV as well.
