WOW, Dixie, you really delivered a lot of information fast. I guess you just don t like the Z-pack backpack, with the delicate frame. You didn t say much about it. I ve heard of other guys having reliability problems with the Z-pack frames at the corners. I really like external frame backpacks. I know they weigh I bit more. I just like how they land on my hips and protect my pack a bit. Anyway, thanks for going to so much trouble to give us a really educated look at some fine packs. I wish you well. Texas

I wish I would have known you were in the market for one I carried mine 1 trip and it didn't work for me and sold it at a significant savings for someone that bought it from me I just can't find any pack that feels better than my bergans

Yeah, Lately I ve been leaning towards the less pain factor when selecting gear, all other factors have become a distant second. Great timing, I m long overdue for a new pack.

I ve had every pack under the sun and always go back to my Ohm. Funny thing the only one I haven t had is an arc blast and I just ordered one.

Thats the beauty of hammocking dixie! No wet tents in your pack. Just a wet tarp in the mesh and a dry hammock & quilts in your pack
